That is the question,
Which episode did Ray go with Robert on the police ride along? Ray went out with Robert on a civilian ride around and afterwards stopped in their favorite pizza place, Nemo's, which conveniently got robbed while they were in there with Robert thwarting the robbery while Ray was in fear. What was touching in this episode was Ray telling the folks what happened and them not wanting to hear it. The more Ray tried to tell his story, the less Frank and Marie wanted to hear it, to the point where they told Ray to shut up about it already with them agititated about the whole thing. it showed that Frank and Marie loved Robert and did not want to be reminded of the dangers. Very touching. I never understood the children's distain for Frank and Marie's parenting. They rocked. The mother made delicious meals, the father iked sports and took the kids to ball games. They were both very loving parents and kind. Marie was a bitch to Debra because no one was good enough for her boy. Same with Robert and Amy. I liked Amy. She rocked. They should have put them together for a show, maybe with Robert in the FBI. Could have been good. Some fans of this show dont like her, but I did, |

That would be "The Ride-Along", from the second season. Here's some more info:

Quote:
About the parenting of Frank and Marie....yes, Marie fed the family well, but Frank was a mean old cuss (though funny to us). Always calling his sons by women's names like Nancy, especially to Robert. Marie was painfully obvious about her favoritism toward Raymond throughout the entire series. So I'm wondering how you could say you don't understand the distain the boys feel. Really, Robert has more right to feel it than Raymond. |
