Confused

In the years since 2009, when I first bought a DVD set from one of those "Trading Sites" I have, when a legitimate release comes out, purchase the official release and discarded the "homemade sets".

I never thought I'd see this happen...

I bought a "Homemade DVD" set to replace an original set!

I decided to watch an episode of Space:1999 only to watch it "crash". Looking at the disks, I noticed they were all fogged, and unplayable! Yup, this set is DEAD. Needing to replace this set, I logon to "The Big River" only t0 discover this set is OOP, and prices are way up in the stratosphere!

So I went to a "Trading Site" to replace this series. Maybe one day this set will get a re-release (Perhaps in Blu-ray) but for the time being, this set will have to tide me over.

Happy Days Seasons 1-6. I found them all together in a condensed set at Walmart today for just $35. I just wish CBS would hurry up and release 7-11.

Hanna-Barbera's weird, live-action/animated prime-time "one-season wonder", The New Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1968-69), due out on DVD next week.

My regular thrift store had a sealed copy of Downton Abbey: Season 1. I got it for $2.00
