Default What generation are you in?

There have been similar threads before, but I was curious what the breakdown is by generation. There's some debate over the year boundaries (I got the bounds above by checking Wikipedia) so if you're on the border and want to go by what you identify as that would be alright.

1962, Generation X ? I always thought of myself as still in the "baby boomer" generation though?

You just missed being a baby boomer. That generation ended in 1960

It all depends on how many years defines a generation

I always thought it went to 1965 but....

I did find this article that said:

"The only generation we do define is Baby Boomers and that year bracket is from 1946 to 1964"

https://www.theatlantic.com/national...-facts/359589/

Also, I did find this chart:

The Generation of 1914.........1890 1915
The Interbellum Generation.... 1901 1913
The Greatest Generation....... 1910 1924
The Silent Generation........... 1925 1945
Baby Boomer Generation........ 1946 1964
Generation X (Baby Bust)...... 1965 1979
Generation Y - Gen Next........ 1980 1995
The Millennial - Generation Z..1996 2010

https://www.careerplanner.com/Career...enerations.cfm

So...who really knows for sure? .

I can't vote because while my generation is among the choices, the years are incorrect. Regardless of what Wiki says, I am a baby boomer (1964), not generation X. Here's the correct breakdown:

http://genhq.com/faq-info-about-generations/

Gen Z, iGen, or Centennials: Born 1996 and later
Millennials or Gen Y: Born 1977 to 1995
Generation X: Born 1965 to 1976
Baby Boomers: Born 1946 to 1964
Traditionalists or Silent Generation: Born 1945 and before.

This site seems more informed and reliable than Wiki so I'm going by it.
