It’s a major award”! Camden County, NJ Local 3249 members assigned to Collingswood Squad Company 16's B Platoon recently got innovative while decorating their home away from home for Christmas.TLocal 3249 members made a firehouse version of the classic leg lamp from "A Christmas Story." The leg lamp is displayed in the front window of their West Collings Avenue firehouse. Photo courtesy of Local 3249 member G. Joyce.

A friend of mine posted these pictures of a commemorative mug of The Beatles appearance at Detroit's Olympia Stadium (1964). He was about 14 at the time. His dad took him to the concert. I am SO jealous!

And here's the northern terminus (for now) of the central spur of Interstate 69 in Texas, also known as I-69C. This is in Edinburg, Texas, where what there is of I-69C runs concurrently with U.S. 281.

This is Interstate 69C's permanent southern terminus, ending at Interstate 2 and U.S. 83 in Pharr, Texas, which, incidentally, is a ghastly place. :O It'll likely be ghastlier when all of I-69 is completed.

As for Interstate 69W . . . well, not one mile of it has been built yet, but here's where it would end, near Interstate 35 in Laredo, Texas, where what will be part of I-69W is currently part of local Loop Route 20.

And that's it for Interstate 69. The termini of Interstate 71 are next!
