LOL. Maybe not gay, but bi. I know someone who met CNR in the green room of a television show on which both were making an appearance and CNR made a pass at him.

The link went bye-bye long since, but I promise and assure and give you my solemn word that Charles Nelson Reilly is gay. He said recently it never occurred to him to come out of the closet because he's never been in the closet.

Gay or straight, one of the absolutely funniest TV personalities of all time. I used to watch The Match Game just to see him. I loved the way he'd go off on Brett Somers. He was a riot!

Hell, even Burt Reynolds said so on that short-lived talk show with Whoopi Goldberg a while back. Reynold said he had a tough time getting his father to accept the idea of him and Reilly performing on screen or something like that.

He indicates that he's gay in his one man show about his life "The Life of Reilly." It's on youtube. And - so what? He was great on "The Ghost & Mrs. Muir" and that's all that matters to me.
