The Waltons (1972-1981, CBS)
The Brady Bunch (1969-1974, ABC)

Cheers Duh! thats just me saying that, but its a shame thatt didnt go on. If only You know who wouldnt want to end it, Cheers could of gone on to mayvbe about 13 seasons. Personally I couldnt write 2 eps of a sitcom that took place in bar. LOL

". Personally I couldnt write 2 eps of a sitcom that took place in bar"

It is pretty hard to write for Cheers. Personally, you watch the episodes over and over again until it echos into your brain, you sort of get the feel for what the characters would say. Trust me.

Ned & Stacey
Veronica's Closet
Leap of Faith
Inside Schwartz
Three Sisters (maybe)
Wings (should have lasted one or two more years)
Taxi (could have gone two or three more)
Cheers (should go on forever)
Seinfeld (one more year)
The Cosby Mysteries
Brother's Keeper
On Our Own
Friends (should be a tenth!)
Frasier (on forever! Eleven is way too little)
Family Matters (should have lasted longer on CBS)
Two Of A Kind
The Weber Show (I LOVE THIS SHOW!)
The Geena Davis Show
I Love Lucy (why only six years?)
Gilligan's Island (ended way too soon, 250+ episodes would have been a definite if not for Gunsmoke)

That's all I can think of right now.

Angry Shows that should've lasted Longer

There are a few shows I think should of lasted Longer.

Bette- Bette Midlers show should've lasted longer, the guest stars and comedy was great, one season wasnt enough. Apparently Bette started firing people and the show went downhill.

Ellen- Ellen could've had a few more years if the lesbian content was toned down, six seasons was good but not enough. Sponsors didn't want the show after Ellen came out, and Ellen was having a miniature nervous breakdown.

The Ellen Show- Ellen DeGeneres comeback was underappreciated, a better cast could've improved it, well, Ellen DeGeneres is said to be getting a Variety Show, from the creators of Rosie O'Donnells show amognst others, that should work out, however I doubt it will show in The Uk.

Cybill- DEFINITELY should have lasted longer, what went wrong? The show was great, great comedy and great actors, and they went ahead and ended it with a Cliffhanger- damn them!

Moonlighting- Could've done another 3 years. I know Moonlighting was a comedy at sometimes, but that final episode was NOT a good way to end Moonlighting. Bruce and Cybill supposedly fought, and Cybill was always taking breaks.

Third Rock From The Sun- There was so much more that could've been dne in the show.

I really liked the show "Baby Blues" on WB, which only aired 5 episodes.
It's a dog eat dog world, and i'm wearing milk-bone underwear.

Default Couldn't believe it...

Although it wasn't a sitcom, I loved the hospital drama, Gideon's Crossing, with Andre Braugher from two seasons ago. The show was so well-written, the characters each unique in their own way. It had very good storylines. My husband I watched this for the entire season, and we just couldn't believe when it was cancelled. It bothered us. We felt invested in the show, and puff, it was over.

I sort of wish "My Adventures in Television" was still on the air. It wasn't that good but it had a good concept, I think ABC should have brought in new writers to try to make it better.
