Yeah. I could seek out a true episode guide and see all that's been cut, or maybe being reshuffled to fill out the CBS and Lifetime seasons, but as far as Amazon goes it's such fluff.

How did they give Operation Stargate the time of day?!

The Frederick young case makes sense it's omitted since he was recently paroled and still maintains his innocence.

I had a feeling this would be excluded but it still would've been fun to watch.

CORRECTION: In Episode 4 Segment 4, only the Richard Aderson part of the "Road Rage" Segment airs on Amazon. The Robert James portion was cut from the "Road Rage" Segment.

My Thoughts-
Of the 52 segments that are on this Season 11 (Amazon Edition) of Unsolved Mysteries, 30 segments are from the 2001 Season and 22 Segments are from 2002 Season. The number of segments from the 2001 & 2002 Seasons that have not aired yet are: 27 for 2001 and 29 Segments for 2002.

If Season 12 is only going to use the 29 segments left from 2002 then that would mean the number of episodes would only be 7. I really hope that is not the case. If we add the segments that were cut from the 2001 edition (27) and add the 29 segments from 2002 edition, then we get 56 segments divided by 4 = 14 episodes.

I have no idea why they put sooooo many 2002 segments into the 2001 season. I guess that will remain an unsolved mystery…………

1. There are a lot of cases here that I do not recognize at all. At least not by the names. Then again, I pretty much had checked out from watching UM post-NBC so that makes sense. I caught some of the Lifetime reruns throughout the later 2000s but definitely didn’t watch any UM at all from 1999-2006 or so. Some of these are going to be first time views for me. 👍

2. Are we absolutely sure they are only going to put up one more season? There are still a ton of missing segments from the early years that they could easily do another one with just those. I’m still hoping deep down that we get at least some of the classic ones that were omitted.

Based on what Cosgrove has said, I think Season 12 and 13 might be full of segments that got left out of previous seasons for timing reasons. There are a number of segments that were the only new segment on another rerun full episode. They said (incorrectly, from what others here said) that is why they didnt put Bobbi Olberholtzer on the set. There is no legal reason to exclude segments like that.

"Season 11" should have been the 2nd CBS season, but they pushed what they were going to air in "Season 10".

Going through the list of lifetime segments, there are only a few I think might be excluded. There was the 'Eagle' scam by the owner who would plant bones, not known yet when UM aired it. There was a single parental kidnapping case also.

No - They call the dennis farina season 'Season 14' on Hulu, so I think there will be 2 more.

Hulu follows the original Season schedule where CBS UM has 2 Seasons (10+11) the Lifetime Seasons (12+13) and the Farina Edition is (14). That's why I have begun the last two episodes guides with an explanation of what the Amazon order is (CBS-Season 10) Lifetime (11+12) versus what Hulu and other sources follow which is the original Season schedule.

"The Official UM Facebook Page" said as of yesterday that next season (12) would be the last one released and they have held firm on that position since last December when the show was announced to go to streaming video.

Besides Bobbi Oberholtzer another case that is on the Farina videos but not on the RS edition is Mike Riemer and Diana Robertson. I remember checking the UM website last summer and it said that the "Riemer/Robertson" case would be coming soon to the RS edition. I just checked today and it only mentions it being on the Farina edition

I would love to see a Season 13 aka The Lost Segments of UM but I don't think Filmrise is going to do that so it looks like the black market will be the place to go for the lost segments.
