"Murder, She Wrote" had several guest stars each episode.

Doesn't every show have lots of guest stars?

I assume they meant well known guest stars, shows like The Walking Dead don't really have many known guest stars, especially on a weekly basis.

I Love Lucy had a lot. In the hour format they had new guests every episode and it started to get annoying.

The Twilight Zone had hundreds of current and future TV stars appear across its 5 seasons.

That's one of the best things about collecting old TV shows. Every now and then you'll run into a "guest star" who at that time was an obscure actor/actress who "guest starred" starred on an episode (sometimes on a show that's equally obscure) who, a few years later few years later becomes a household name.

Frasier had a lot of guest stars; as did Cheers.

All In The Family often had guest stars. 227 had many guest stars.

The Golden Girls; Night Court; Murphy Brown--- all had many guest stars.

I still think the answer is "99% of all shows ever made", but fine, I'll play along...

The Simpsons has lots of guest stars.

Odd Couple
Evening Shade

The former made sense, seeing as how Felix and Oscar were a photographer and sportswriter, respectively, in NYC. I have a hard time believing so many celebrities stopped through Evening Shade, Arkansas so often.

The Love Boat. It ran for 9 seasons so there's far too many guest stars to list. Although there were several actors who guest starred more than once but as different characters.

Ed.

The Love Boat and Fantasy Island were built around guest stars. They were basically anthology shows, so I don’t think they count.

The later Lucy Shows were BRUTAL when it came to guest stars. “BOB CUMMINGS, what are you doing here???!!!”
