Speaking of Robin Strasser, she recently went on Twitter to criticize General Hospital actress Laura Wright for appearing on The Chew. That show, along with The Revelation took over the time slots of All My Children and One Life to Live which got canceled by ABC.

Yeah I saw.

Which reminds me a few more:

Nancy Lee Grahn (General Hospital) has never had nice things to say about Robert Guza (former Head Writer) or Brian Fronz, the former head honcho of ABC Daytime.

When Kim appeared on OLTL in the 1980's as Echo DiSavoy she became immensely popular and was a hit with viewers; which apparently Robin didn't care for and rumor has it Robin who was dating a producer at the time got Kim fired from the series.

In her book, Zimmer discusses this although she never officially names Robin as the woman, however it is generally understood that Robin is the one she was discussing. Since then however both ladies have made amends and Kim appeared on OLTL as Echo from 2009 until it's end in 2012.

Former OLTL star Ellen Holly, who played Carla Grey, one of the series original characters has since released an interview stating she has an on-going feud with OLTL producer Agnes Nixon and ABC for apparently being racist towards her and treating her poorly. She also calls out producer Paul Raunch, and star Erika Slezak as being racist towards her and treating her like garbage. She alleges that because she is black she was forced to be paid less than other OLTL stars, was not allowed to have an agent negotiate her contracts and was called fat, stupid, ugly and told her voice was horrible and offensive and that she was verbally harassed on a daily basis by various producers including former ABC head Jackie Smith.

She also claims that while being promoted as the star of the series she was not paid like other lead actresses; she says while she was promoted as OLTL's star in the way that Slezak was and that Susan Lucci was on AMC, she made merely a fraction of what they made.
Robin Strasser was also supposedly dating Paul Rauch at one point, and he was OLTL's EP when Kim Zimmer was on that show the first time around. Things that make you go hmmmm...

Erika Slezak (One Life to Live star) never cared for former writer Dena Hiegly and was part of the reason she got fired from the show. Slezak spoke out about lack of airtime for herself and veterans and for the direction the show was going (a bad one at that) and Hiegly was shown the door.

Speaking of OLTL, I remember hearing that the cast in general did not care for their EP at the time. It wasn't Rauch, I want to say it was Gail Kobe. Erika Slezak and James DePaiva were two I can think of who did not care for her. Robin Strasser, I believe, was not on the show at the time. She was off in Hollywood doing primetime stuff. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I could be wrong, but I think it was Linda Gottlieb. I believe at first she wasn't well liked because she made radical changes to the format and had no prior experience with producing soaps. Over time, I believe they all mostly came to respect her.

Speaking of Strasser, I can tell you for sure she did NOT get along with soap killer Jill Farren-Phelps, who wrote her off the show after a heated argument on-set. I am almost certain that James DePavia had no love lost with her either.

You're right, it was Linda Gottlieb. Gail Kobe produced Guiding Light. Thanks for catching that. It's hard to believe that JFP did such quality work on Santa Barbara (which in its heyday was just marvelous, and still is, watching the old clips on YouTube and whatnot) and became one of the forces that brought the soap industry down.

I feel like no matter how good SB was, NBC had it in their mind that it was to be cancelled. First it was SB then AW and the hits kept on coming.

JFP actually has done good work on other shows; her work on OLTL was actually pretty good to me. I have heard she wasn't very good on GL though and on GH she just wreaked havoc.

You have a point - and let us not forget that none other than FRONS was in charge of daytime at NBC when SB got the ax.

That is not true at all. Matt and Meredith got a long Great! Matt adores Meredith and Meredith loved Matt(As Friends!!) They are great Friends and are very close! They have Great chemistry, IF you watched them in Londn you would have seen that.

If they did not get along Meredith would have never gotten the job in the first place since they had a secret meeting before it was even rumored that Meredith was a front runner for the job, and she was his choice for Co-Host!

On Meredith last day Matt said that he has never worked with anyone better then Meredith and that he never had a better Partner then her at his side.

I don't know where you've been, but it was WIDELY REPORTED for YEARS that they did not get along off-screen and that Matt was very vocal about wanting her fired when she first started on Today.
