Default The Bewitched House

Anybody notice that in most of the episodes in the 4th season, you can see the Bewitched house at the end of the street? Curiously this is the season before Bewitched premiered. Also strange is in one episode, this is Miss Cathcart's house, (she was in a different house in the earlier seasons), and another episode Mrs. Elkins is in front of the house as if she lived there. Something else that's ironic, Alice Pearce appears as Miss Cathcart's friend, and is seen in the front yard of the house that she would be living across the street from when she is cast as Mrs. Kravitz on Bewitched in the following broadcast season.

I always wondered when and why the Bewitched house was originally built. It is not present in the first (1961-62) season of Hazel. It is present in the second (1962-63). The Baxter's house in the second season has an attached garage instead of the free-standing one of the first season. This original garage became the Bewitched garage. It seems the house was actually built for a 1962-63 Screen Gems series, Our Man Higgins, which lasted one season. It of course will always be remembered as Darrin and Samantha's House.

I like to pretend that Mrs. Elkins decided to move out and the Stephens moved in.

So who all lived on this street, besides: The Mitchells and The Wilsons (DTM); The Baxters and Hazel Burke (Hazel); The Stephens and The Kravitzes (Bewitched) and The Partridges ( TPF)?

And now The Hecks live on the block near the Bewitched house. I'd love to roam around that area lol.
