So what happens if one of Kirk's 6 children come's to their father at some future time and announces he/she's gay?

On Piers Morgan, Kirk said that he would have a heart-to-heart with them, and that's there's all sorts of issues they need to wrestle through in life, and just because they feel one doesn't me they should act on anything that they feel.

Personally, I think Kirk should just learn how to accept that fact, as difficult as it may be for him. I am straight, BTW, and I am neither left, nor right.

I pray that none of Kirk's children are gay, because with a father like him, they will have a very difficult struggle ahead of them.

What Kirk clearly doesn't understand is that same-sex feelings are natural and if one of his children is gay, they should not be made to feel wrong or ashamed for having those feelings and wanting to act on them. Telling a gay person they shouldn't act on their feelings is no different than telling a straight person they shouldn't act on their's.

I totally disagree with this. Humankind is divided into men and women, not men/men or women/women, for a reason.

In society we have variation. Some people are black, some are white; some are women, some are men; some are heterosexual and some are homosexual. Yes, heterosexuality is needed for reproduction, but that doesn't mean that everyone is, has to be, or was meant to be heterosexual. Homosexuality has been found in over 1500 species of animals and countless scientific studies have been conducted that favor homosexuality being inborn in humans. To deny the fact that it is natural, is to deny science.
