Actually, Sandra Quatermaine was never on GH, but she was on AMC briefly as a recast Angie Hubbard after Debbi Morgan joined the short-lived NBC soap Generations. The actresses played Simone Ravelle Hardy on GH:
Laura Carrington (19871989), Stephanie Williams (19901993), and Felecia Bell (1993-1996).

Yes, how right you are. Thanks for pointing that out. I don't know why I wrote Sandra's name. You are so right. I believe the lady I'm speaking of is likely Laura Carrington. I'll have to pull out my old GH Anniversary book and confirm who it is.

I think that was with Dan Rather, when CBS tried a 2-anchor team on the Evening News. In any case, that particular experiment didn't last very long and Dan was once again doing the news solo.

Has anyone mentioned Bill Cosby and Lisa Bonet yet? That was a pretty big feud back in the day, and to my knowledge do not speak to this day.
