On CBS' version of "Let's Make A Deal",changed,so now it includes,(and no,ther's nothing wrong with that)the "Super Deal",where a big deal-winning contestant can go-or not-for the "Super Deal",worth $50,000.However,If they go for it,and DON'T pick the right envelope that has the $50,000 in it,,they lose everything, including the "big deal".Did they just start this, and did they do it because the ratings aren't very good?Just curious.

That was for 2 weeks only. So this week is back to normal episodes. And on Monty Hall's original version in its 2nd-to-last season (at least in syndication) they also used the Super Deal, except it was worth $20,000, meaning since most Big Deals during that time was close to $10,000, a player could win close to $30,000 in total. and the 1st few playings of the original Super Deal acted exactly like the Super Deal on the current version. But about a few eps. later into the 2nd-to-last season they changed the two consolation amounts into random amounts between $1,000 to the maximum of $9,000.
