This show was probably the best show that came out of the "WB".I still have yet to see anything good out of the "CW" either.I wouldn't say it's complete crap because it had its funny moments.

You really didn't think "Scary Movie" and "Scary Movie 2" were funny?

I didn't watch them. Anything the Wayans do (Shawn and Marlon) does not appeal to me.

I apologize for the title. When I posted this thread, I was new and didn't understand the rules at the time. I wouldn't say the show is crap, but let's just say it is far from my favorite. Had I known the rules back then, I wouldn't have gone out of my way to bash a show I really didn't care about.

As if this board had a lot of activity in the first place. Outside of the miscellaneous boards, Sitcoms Online seems sort of dead these days. D:

It had its funny moments, I'd give it a 6 out of 10.

I am not a fan of Shawn or Marlon. But, when I posted the thread, I had a different feeling of the show than i do now. It is ok, but I wouldn't say it is crap.

Thumbs up

I see this show 3-4 times a week late at night when I get home from work. I watch it because Shawn and Marlon are great eye candy. IMHO, the comedy is good-natured but mediocre at best. Certainly not the best the Wayans bunch has had to offer. That would be "In Living Color", one of my all time favorite shows-- groundbreaking, innovative, irreverent with a superb emsemble cast and writing, and they made fun of EVERYBODY. Hooray for the Wayans for seeing the humor in the idiosyncrasies of every group and type of people, and then having the courage to show it to the nation. With ILC, the Wayans knocked the chip off everybody's shoulder and kicked political correctness in the pants. Oh for somebody to have the courage to do it today. People need to take a chill pill and let the Wayans do their thing. I admire them for it.

I liked the show White Mike, Pops, and Dee were all funny characters. Scary Movie 1 and 2 were good films aswell the rest of the trilogy sucked though.

I couldn't watch the show because the Father and younger son were borderline retarded. Actually I;m not sure if Marlon was gay or retarded, maybe he was both

Shawn was the only normal person on the show

Shawn was the only normal character on this sitcom but he was considered a goody two shoe square by his funny eccentric brother lol, the guy who made this post is right this show is crap but their are some nicely done episodes of this show for example the pilot episode we get to see gary coleman guest star the best scene was gary running around with smoking hair lol
