The openings on the second season DVD set are the correct, original openings as originally seen on NBC. There are two: The "football hero" opening, used for the fall episodes, and the "grocery bag opening" used after football season was over with. These are being used by Antenna TV for the currently syndicated episodes, but the original syndicated opening employed for the first syndicated package in the late 60s used a horrible mess cobbled together from these two second season openings and a brief clip from a fifth season opening, underscored by fifth season theme music. As I've commented before, this opening makes no sense if you see it. It used to be on YouTube, but when I tried to recently access it, I couldn't find it anymore.

There's now several of the Hazel openings on Youtube. They all seem to have the same theme music, and yet I remember another music score in my head, which I can't account for!

Oh wait, This is the theme for season 5. But I remember this music score with an earlier opening with Hazel sitting on the back of a Ford convertable with a boquet of flowers, and Bobby Buttrock up in a tree, throwing down confetti or something. (when was this opening used?)

How many openings were there all together? Season 4's opening (on YT) has yet another music score! Very Confusing!
