Seems like FamNET has finished off Mr. B as of 3/13/2012, since they've aired the series finale where Mr. Belvedere gets married and moves to Africa.
Now the question is do they start back from the very beginning w/ "Stranger in the Night" or will they air at least one more un-aired S6 episode?

Which openings did they use? When both parts of the finale first aired, short openings were used.
And what about all the featured songs? Are they all intact? The songs featured were Land of 1,000 Dances (a cover version that was recorded for the show for the nightclub scene; the "Na na-na-na-na na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na na-na-na-na" part was used.), On a Clear Day, and If Ever I Would Leave You. The last two were sung by Robert Goulet, in his 4th and final special guest appearance on the show. |

I was only able to catch Part 2, since I ended up missing part 1 due to my family's infatuation w/ the Monday night reality garbage.
I do know that Part 2 used the full intro theme and the 2nd song in Part 2 was retained I think. Not sure about the rest though. |

I heard that they are starting over with the first episode.
To the OP: Were the scenes featuring Land of 1000 Dances and If Ever I Would Leave You deleted from the episode, or were those two songs there, but you were never familiar enough with them to begin with? Goulet should be heard singing the tail end of "If Ever I Would Leave You". The "...I'm bewitched by you so? Oh, no! not in spring-time! Summer, winter or fall! No, never could I leave you at all!" part to be exact. That's the only way to be sure that that song was intact on the 3/13/2012 familynet airing. Also, I was wrong. It wasn't a cover version of Land of 1000 Dances. It was the version by Cannibal and the Headhunters. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uQcHlxy9pc (watch for the na-na-na-na-na part I was referring to in my original post). And Friday they aired the episode where George writes an article about Wrestling being uninspiring after him, Wes and Belvey go to a wrestling event, only to end up having George going to great lengths to prove that he is macho, even going so far as to going into a tough customers' bar after a spectator got into with him, which also prompts Belvedere to deck the spectator and use a move of his own on him.
One of the bartenders, Richard Karron also played the role of a bartender, owner, waiter of a restaurant on early season episodes of one of Mr. Belvedere's Friday night stablemate shows in Webster as Maurice. |

Marques, what about my question?
In part 2 of the finale that you saw on FamilyNet, were the scenes featuring Land of 1000 Dances and If Ever I Would Leave You deleted from the episode, or were those two songs there, but you were never familiar enough with them to begin with? Goulet should be heard singing the tail end of "If Ever I Would Leave You". The "...I'm bewitched by you so? Oh, no! not in spring-time! Summer, winter or fall! No, never could I leave you at all!" part to be exact. That's the only way to be sure that that song was intact on the 3/13/2012 familynet airing. Also, I was wrong. It wasn't a cover version of Land of 1000 Dances. It was the version by Cannibal and the Headhunters. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uQcHlxy9pc (watch for the na-na-na-na-na part I was referring to). Apologies for repeating myself. It's okay, Vahan. If I Would Ever Leave You I think is still present. Not 100% sure on the other one I missed since my DVR erased those eps. and didn't allow for me to go back and re-look over those. |

You may remember a YouTube user named jmtrt9 had episodes of Mr. B on his channel. And yes, he had both parts of the series finale. Unfortunately, his account has been terminated. I wonder if you were able to download his Mr. B videos off of his channel before it got deleted.
