Default The Sleepover

Honestly people, would Niles have irritated you as much as he did his brother and father by sleeping over?

Maybe. But I got the feeling he'd been there a few more days than we could tell, and that possibly most of that stuff he was doing was his mild OCD and neurosis running rampant because of the stress of being rejected by his wife and booted out of his home. I probably would have been more sympathetic, but yeah, some of the things he did throughout that episode might have annoyed me a bit.

I liked his natural sounds recordings and I like a little air circulation when I sleep.

But he shut the window to mask the sound of the rain only to turn on the rain on his natural sounds recordings. Or... excuse me... "all the sounds of the rainforest." He's so sweet though I can't really find anything about him that would annoy me too terribly much.

I agree with you. As a matter of fact after Daphne and Niles got together, Niles had a problem with Daphne's rough sleep. Daphne wasn't at all bothered by Niles' sleep routine.

Yeah. I don't think he had that same routine though once he got together with Daphne. At least it didn't appear so the few times we went into his bedroom when she was there. Remember, there was a time when he was married to Maris that he slept alone, in his own room. He was also much more uptight when he was with Maris... I could see where he'd have trouble sleeping. I would guess all that stuff in that picture up there was a holdover from that, plus a little bit of OCD and neuroses added in at that time because she had kicked him out. I betcha once he got together with Daphne he probably didn't need all that stuff anymore, not only because he was so much happier and much more relaxed, but he was sleeping (actually sleeping ) with another person now, and it was someone he loved and loved him back, too. Just cuddling up to her was probably all he needed anymore.

I laugh so hard when he goes and closes the window because he doesn't like the sound of the rain and then turns on that sound machine to "rain"!! ROFL I may have it backwards as to the order, but it's a hilarious scene!

Niles: You do?
Daphne: Yes, of course I do! Oh you dear, sweet man, give me a hug!
