I was just curious to see how the emotional finale effected other fans. I know for me, it was cool/sad to see all the clips of funny & memorable scenes throught the shows run. I thought the clips of Doug & Carrie were cool to see because they actually made a great couple. (I know the chemistry was a concern the producers had during casting.) This show was & is a great thing to do with my wife, it ALWAYS gives us great laughs. Please share what you think!

First of all, I cannot believe that it's been almost 4 years since the show ended. I thought they gave the show a great send-off, though. I agree that the clips at the end of the episode were very emotional. I remember it well from when it first aired.
Welcome to the board, by the way! It's great to have someone new posting. This board used to be so active when the show was still producing new episodes, but it hasn't been in such a long time. |

Well thank you for that welcome! Yeah, it seems like yesterday that the show ended. I'm glad I stumbled on this forum, wish I'd known about it when the show was still on. Yeah, i'll be reminiscing about things I loved/observed about this great show. Thanks again!

No problem! Maybe someday this board will pick up again. It would be nice to see.

This forum and most of the forums on sitcoms online have died since the shows have died. I guess it's understandable and I agree I wish I had used these forums when the show was on. P.S. Here are a few more that are a little more active: http://www.leahreminiguardforum.com/upload/ - Leah Remini talk but scroll down there is a King of Queens Forum http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0165581/board/ - IMDB (new posts almost every day) As far as the ending goes I loved how the 4 parter wrapped everything up nicely. I wanted them to give Carrie & Doug a kid and they gave them two. It was an emotional few last episodes. Of course Arthur has the last line when he moves back in and says it didn't work out. Then the montage which I love the song by the way and I cry every time I see it. Love the ending when they say thanks for the ride. And yes it is so hard to believe it's been over for 4 years. Kevin and Leah are doing well though on and off screen so that's great. The others have kind of settled down a bit which is fine too. King of Queens should have made them set for a while if not life. |
