Default You Tube

In the past, I have posted a bunch of messages regarding Cindy's bubble being bursted at the end of the episode known as the "Snooperstar". One compareson that I have made is that situation and the situation in which Katie's bubble was bursted at the end of the "Gimme a Break!" episode known as "Samantha's Protest". Because of how "out of site, out of mind" "Gimme a Break!" has been during the past couple of decades, a lot of you probably do not have a clue what I am talking about! However, a good samaritan who read one of my posts on the "Gimme a Break!" section of this site managed to upload the entire episode on "You Tube"! Bless his heart! If any of you are interested, you could watch that episode there and see what I mean about the parrelells in situations. In my opinion, both Katie and Cindy truely got what they deserved for acting the way that they did! What do you other folks think?

My guess would be that the thing that you are saying is not available to the public is the third season episode of "Gimme a Break!" that I compared the "Snooperstar" to. Well, if you are saying that it is not out on DVD, you are absolutely right! Unfortunately, only the first season of this show has been released in this country and only the first and second seasons have been released anywhere in the world. It is my understadning that negotiations are going on for all six seasons to come out in a boxed set. Wouldn't that be something? However, like I said when I started this thread, someone uploaded this particular episode onto "Youtube". For the record, it is still up there. The fact that the person or company that has the rights to it has not taken it down after all of this time says something about what people think that series is worth! In any event, as I am sure most of you know, the whole series of the "Brady Bunch" has been out on DVD for some time. On top of that, either all or virtually all of the episodes have been uploaded onto "Youtube". This makes it sort of like a belt and suspenders type of situation! The bottom line is that the vast majority of people reading this post can get reaquainted with both episodes if they want to. I am still very interested in reading what other viewers have to say! I would now like to conclude be writing what I think about the poetic justice of both episodes. Cindy getting her bubble bursted searved her right for going into Marcia's private business. Katie getting her bubble bursted searved her right first for letting her egotism get the best of her and second for putting her arms, her bosoms and her crotch where they do not belong! Shame on you Katie!

They have some episodes available for instant viewing on Netflix, but not that one.

At this point, I am not sure what you are saying that they do not have on Netflix. Are you referring to the "Brady Bunch" episode or the "Gimme a Break!"? In either case, if you have access to "Youtube" then you still have a way of watching both episodes if you are interested.

They have some episodes of Gimme a Break available for instant viewing on Neflix, but not that one.
They don't have any of them on DVD.

As for Brady Bunch, the whole series is available on DVD on Netflix.

One thing that you still have not started is whether or not you have access to "Youtube". This is a very important part of the equation!

It's such a pain to download videos from Youtube and the quality usually leaves a lot to be desired!

I am very happy that you are making an effort in this endevour! When and if ever you have aquainted youself with both episodes, you could probably express a very interesting opinion. The way that I look at it is that, in the same way that Cindy needed to be taught a lesson for snooping, Katie needed to be taught a lesson about getting her hormones in check and keeping her mits to herself!

It was kind of funny the way he chose Samantha over her, but in Cindy's case it seemed to be an incident that led of her getting a swollen head where as with Katie it seemed to be an integral part of her character.

The first thing that I would like to say is that I am very happy to learn that you finaly got a chance to see the episode that I compared "Snooperstar" to! You have raised some very interesting points about the two episodes. There are a lot of things that I might bring up in the future. However, right now, I would just like to mention one amusing thing that happened a few hours ago. I was watching the third season episode "Cindy Brady Lady" on "Youtube". This episode inplied that Marcia and Jan both had very easy times getting dates. Someone posted a response saying that all sitcoms make it look so easy to get dates. I posted a response to this response saying that if this is what that poster thinks then he or she should take a look at Katie's fruitless efforts to get a date in "Samantha's Protest"! I then informed him or her that that episode was also up on "Youtube". When and if this person sees that episode, I am sure that he or she will be singing a different tune after it is over!
