Default Chris Knight's dad has passed away

Just posted by Susan Olsen on Facebook, Edward Knight, father of Chris, has died. Ed played the quiz kids host on the Brady Bunch--the one where Cindy froze when she realized she was on live TV.

I'm very sorry to hear that. My best goes out to him.

He is supposed to appear at the BigAppleCon this weekend in NYC. I was planning on attending and looking forward to seeing him down there.

As of now he is still on the guest list but I would understand greatly if he doesn't show.

I send my condolences to Chris and his family. I remember seeing his father on his reality show.

I remember seeing the father on the reality show as well. I love how he told then fiancee Adrienne to "stop the b*tching!" LOL. She needed to hear that. I do wish Chris and the family the best.

Correct, Chris' father appeared in an episode of the Brady Bunch.

He played the children's game show host in the 1973 episode "You Can't Win Them All" (episode 94, aired in March 1973). That's the ep in which Bobby and Cindy try out to appear on a TV Quiz show. Cindy makes it, Bobby doesn't.

Ed Knight played "Monty Marshall" the quiz show host (the name must be a combination from game show hosts Monty Hall and Peter Marshall)
