A pleasant surprise, indeed. I haven't seen either IDOJ or BW since they left TVLand, so I'll make sure to tune in for those. I already watch the other two on their respective stations. Thanks for posting, Pav!

I love half of the nights, four episodes each of Jeannie and Bewitched!
Beverly Hillbillies is dissapointing, it airs all the time on TVLand Why aren't they doing anything on Friday this time?

They probably couldn't get anything else for a fifth night, so a movie is airing on Friday (it isn't a 50-60s movie, so doesn't count for Golden Oldies week).

I wonder what package they got for BW and Jeannie--I don't have WGN America, so it'll be nice to hear how the shows were ran.

do they have rights to BW and IDOJ like they do with Hillbillies, Happy Days, etc? If so they need to be airing them daily, IMO.

I think they just leased this certain episodes for this week-they didn't buy the shows as a regular entry. Is that correct, Pav?

Correct, Bewitched and Jeannie are only bought for those days they are airing that week.
The only shows from these retro weeks they have are WKRP, Newhart (well that didn't air on their retro weeks) and The Honeymooners (and they are probably limited to once a week play, I bet). In addition to Cosby Show, BH, and HD that they have been airing for some years. |

Maybe it's only four nights because they don't want to go against the opening ceremonies of the Olympics.

Why would WKRP be limited to once a week? It's not like it airs anywhere else.

Well if they have WKRP and Newhart, they should be airing them daily....if IDOJ and BW do well, they should acquire those and air them daily too. The schedule needs help desperately.

The schedule defenitely needs some work lol. They should have just named it AFV America. Seriously, they can go entire days airing paid programming, a baseball game, and america's funniest home videos for about 5 hours straight, also not to forget america's funniest pets and people!
