My suggestion for CBS Fall 2008 would be:

Sundays

7PM 60 Minutes
8PM The Amazing Race
9PM Movie

Mondays

8-10PM Sitcoms (as they are now, maybe with a new one)
10PM CSI: Miami

Tuesdays

8PM NCIS
9PM NUMB3RS (this needs a better night)
10PM Without a Trace

Wednesdays

8PM Cold Case
9PM Criminal Minds
10PM CSI: NY

Thursdays

8PM Survivor
9PM CSI
10PM NEW DRAMA

Fridays

8PM Ghost Whisperer
9PM Moonlight / NEW DRAMA
10PM Shark

I think we might see a few changes to CBS this season. I think Shark will get renewed, along with Moonlight. Your schedule looks pretty good, Pavan. I actually think they might bring in TPIR specials for awhile, maybe in midseason again, Fridays at 8pm, just because they really did well there before, and it would help jump start the night. Numbers will probably move to a new night, with GW at 9pm and Moonlight at 10pm, Besides that, it's up in the air.

Moonlight 10pm? No way. Shark skews way too old, so I don't think CBS is bringing it back. Remember the only reason TPIR aired was because of the strike...usually it only airs a couple times during sweeps.

Default My Best Friends Girl

Well I just hope My Best Friends Girl makes the cut because it is HILARIOUS!! I actually went to the live show (it was my first one) and it was so funny and smart. The two guys in it were hysterical and the girl who plays the aunt (Nicole Sullivan) is beyond funny and perfect for this show. Definitely worth watching...Now lets hope it gets picked up

Shark can definitely go either way at this point. I would definitely just axe Moonlight altogether . . . it's currently bringing in way less total viewers than Shark, which is on the bubble.

TPIR was doing close to 10 million for most of its 6 episodes Fridays at 8pm, which is basically what Ghost Whisperer gets. It's also doing decent on Wednesdays nights. They should think about bringing it back in someway in the fall.

I would like to know the details of some of the new series mentioned in some of these various upfronts that resemble UK shows (at least in name) -

Spaced, Life on Mars, Eleventh Hour, I can't remember if there was another one...

are these really US versions of the same shows?

This is what I would do.
Sunday
7:00 60 Minutes
8:00 Ghost Whisperer
9:00 Cold Case
10:00 repeats
Because of the NFL overrun any new show that's scheduled at 10:00 would suffer.

Monday
8:00 Big Bang Theory (should go post 2.5 Men this summer)
8:30 How I Met Your Mother
9:00 Two and a Half Men
9:30 My Best Friend's Girl
10:00 CSI Miami

Tuesday
8:00 NCIS
9:00 The Mentalist
10:00 Without a Trace

Wednesday
8:00 Old Christine
8:30 Rules of Engagement
9:00 Criminal Minds
10:00 CSI New York

Thursday
8:00 Survivor
9:00 CSI
10:00 11th Hour

Friday
8:00 The Price is Right
9:00 Moonlight
10:00 Numb3rs

Midseason
The Unit
The Amazing Race
Exit 19
Single White Millionaire
