Well an hour is an hour........so hopefully this is the start of a new direction for ION. I'm kinda puzzled by the Thursday move--hopefully they may spotlight shows that otherwise wouldn't get shown. I hope it is not another RHI movie night. Hope they give the 6pm eastern slot to a nice show we will all be delighted to see! Glad that at least ION was decent enough to finish the run of Alice

I hope to GOD it's not Louie Anderson's version, or Karn's... that comes on more than enough times a week on GSN.

It is John O'Hurley's version of Family Feud, as stated:
http://www.sitcomsonline.com/blog/20...-picks-up.html And yes, glad an hour was added. I will ask more on expansion in our interview after their upfront on May 1. My bets on the TBD slots: Mon-Thurs 6-7pm could be a sitcom (Jamie Foxx?) or a game show leading into Family Feud Thurs 8-10pm (hopefully weekly sitcom blocks or maybe crime dramas, since 48 Hours is at 10pm on Thursdays) |

Irene, I couldn't have said it better myself-LOL
What kind of a schedule is this? Quantum Leap? Family Feud? Alice is gone, Wayans Bros. lives to see another month. The biggest disaster . . . Drew Carey is moving to 10pm and only for 3 nights.. That is a horrible timeslot for me, and Quantum Leap at 9pm surely won't help it. And what do you know - Mama sticks around at 8pm. How could they release a schedule that takes effect next week and leave all those TBD slots? I sure hope something worth watching will air at 6pm . . . my hope is for the return of The Wonder Years, Who's the Boss?, or Growing Pains. And what's up with the Thursday slots being open? Knowing ION, it'll probably be another night of the RHI movies. I couldn't hate this schedule any more than I do.

Wow, O'Hurley Feud comes on twice a day already in most markets in first-run syndication, and it's also coming to GSN in May. I mean, I like his version but this is gonna be a bit much.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a Thursday Night Black Comedy Block in the TBD slots, probably filled with old UPN shows. |

IMO there are a number of shows with African-American characters that are better than TWB.

This schedule is promising, although it largely depends on the TBD slots. ION is finally expanding, even if it's just for an hour. And the O'Hurley Feud is better than any of their current lineup. I really hope The Wonder Years or Early Edition is at 6:00 (although Early Edition isn't likely
) And Thursday nights could be good if they put Dragnet and Adam-12 there. They have to announce the TBD slots soon since the new schedule starts in less than two weeks. |

And they have rights to so many from there Warner and Sony libraries. I just wish they would air more classic 80's and 90's sitcoms instead of these mystery dramas and reality shows. Their lineup to me just seems so random and out of place. |
