Ironically, this schedule seems to be more based in pre-1980s shows that some of the ones throughout 2006 and 2007. The return of "The Beverly Hillbillies" is definitely doing a lot in the way of getting TVLand back to classic television. It'll be very interesting to see how the ratings for it are whenever it comes. I know I can't wait to watch it again!

The 80s weekend looks promising...depending on what the other programming is. Of course, when I think of 80s TV, I think of one primetime genre...and well, we should all know what that is by now lol. That'll be an interesting weekend, I hope.

Not the greatest schedule, but it isn't the worst either. The Jeffersons only in latenights on weekdays sucks . . . and it's getting replaced by JSM in the mornings, which is worse. All in the Family gone sucks. I'm surprised Designing Women is still on . . . seems to be doing pretty well.

And I can't believe TVLand actually cut down on Good Times and Sanford and Son. It's on way less than usual this month.

The only good thing is the Beverly Hillbillies is coming on. JSM sucks.

A couple of weeks ago I predicted that TV Land would cancel All In The Family. They were running the newer ones that nobody wants to see and the ratings were not good. Every time they run the newer episodes, it's just a matter of time before it's off the schedule.

The Jeffersons Must Be Doing Better Then All In The Family,Because They Are Still On the Schedule And All In The Family Is Being Taken off,I Would Think That If All In The Family Was Being Pulled That The Jeffersons Would Have Been pulled Also.
According To Link The Ratings For The Jeffersons Have Been Fairly Consistent But Not Outstanding

Link seems to say that about every show on TVLand except TAGS and MASH.

I wonder why they didn't just move The Jeffersons to All in the Family's former timeslot instead of adding an additional Good Times? Good Times must be more popular.

Here's my prediction...JSM will flop in 2 weeks. If that happens, If I were them, I'd add another Beaver hour from 4-5, and move that TAGS hour back to 12-1.

And...my, my, my. How the mighty have fallen. Who would have ever thought we'd see Three's Company, Good Times, Sanford and Son, and even The Jeffersons not airing in choice time slots.

Looks like their 'main' shows are I Love Lucy, The Beverly Hillbillies, M*A*S*H, and Andy Griffith. Not bad.

I still cannot understand why Just Shoot Me was chosen to air on TVLAND. Nick at Nite would have been much more suitable. It looks odd on the schedule in the middle of shows 20 to 40 years older than itself. I really hope TVLand's next acquisition is a 60s show. That's all I ask for and surely what everyone else asks for.

I think that with TC and GT, it has more to do with the amount of times the episodes can be shown than with ratings. Pav's explained this before, but I always forget exactly how it goes.

Please, please, please for the love of television take just shoot me off of TV land! The show is just horrible. I hope it leaves as fast as perfect strangers left ION.

I see also when they air the George Lopez marathon they have to throw in an hour of fresh prince Why couldn't they air the marathon right on up until 6:00.

I wish that they would air Three's Company at a decent time slot at least 8pm. That way I can see it before I go to work.

TV Land is in a sad, pathetic state right now.

I don't like "Just Shoot Me!" but that's beside the point. It's too F-ing new to be on TV Land. I know, they've given up on being a classic TV network.

I've also never been a fan of movies airing on television, unless it's a movie channel without commercials. Just because TV is for TV shows and movies are for movie theaters or DVD players. I especially hate 1980s movies. Those are the worst (with a few exceptions, of course).

As for reality shows, it's one thing to air reality shows ABOUT television. I'm still not a fan of that, but at least it's on topic. But to have reality shows that have nothing to do with television stars or anything, is bull****.

I think we all need to pray for TV Land. Come on everybody, hold hands with the person closest to you and as a world, we will pray for TV Land. NOW!
