That showcase section is really what classic tv is all about. The Patty Duke show, the odd couple. Is this a sign that some of these shows will be returning? Man I just love welcome back kotter and the Jeffersons. That girl would be nice to see and different strokes.

I love Knots landing more than Dallas. I sure am thankful to soapnet showing the epsiodes pretty much unedited. Last month I was flipping channels and saw the CMT channel had the dukes of hazzard. I haven't seen Amen since Tbs took it off a couple years ago. Mama's family has been on forever.

And that, my friends, is what I'll be taping on this lovely weekend. Probably more, if I get to the store to get some blank tapes! That's 9 hours! I hope I'll be able to pull it off! That's gonna be some great Falcon Crest stuff, those two episodes are the 1983-1984 season finale and 1984-1985 season premiere! When primetime soaps were in their heyday! Knots Landing's pilot is going to be wonderful, though I would have preferred a season two episode with Donna Mills as Abby Cunningham. Dallas's offering isn't a surprise at all, it's of course the episode where JR gets shot at the end of the 1979-1980 season. Sisters, I'm looking forward to, since I've never seen it. Definitely taping the pilot. Alice, I haven't seen in years, so that'll be wonderful! And Hogan Family too!

OMG!!! They're showing episodes of Valerie and The Hogan Family!!! YAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! My DVD recorder is going to be so freaking busy that weekend!!
And I'd also like to add that the Movie of The Week thing sounds so awesome. I've always wanted to see Sybil, Helter Skelter, and The Day After. I'll definitely be recording those (I know The Day After and Helter Skelter are out on DVD but I don't want to buy them if I don't know if I will like them). And what makes this more exciting is that it looks like these will be the unedited versions. Last edited by ClassicTV4Ever : 05-24-2005 at 11:57 PM. |

JT, you might want to watch Valerie on the WB event. It's Hogan Family, pre-Sandy Duncan.

This is great news!!! I can't wait! I haven't seen a lot of those shows in a long time. I'm especially looking forward to seeing Valerie/Hogan Family, Alice, Dallas, Love, Sidney and Eight is Enough.
