Teletoon Retro Fall 2009 Schedule --- Starting Mon. Sept. 7

Finally, something to look forward to this fall.....

Once again, allow me to emphasize how good the new Teletoon Retro schedule looks. The new lineup begins in exactly 5 weeks from Monday so you won't have long to wait for it. To get a good look at it, follow the above link. Once you're there, here are a few things to keep in mind while you're making note of your favourites:

1. The Banana Splits show will be on at 1:30 pm only. Someone at the printing department must have got a little excited.

2. Debut --- Sept. 7

What's in: The Yogi Bear Show, The Huckleberry Hound Show, The Quick Draw McGraw Show, Top Cat, Captain Caveman, Josie and the Pussycats, Transformers, G.I. Joe, Inspector Gadget and Beetlejuice

What's out: Wait Till Your Father Gets Home, The Tom and Jerry Show, Woody Woodpecker, Merrie Melodies, Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids and The Porky Pig Show

3. All shows will be on at the same time every day even on weekends. No series is repeated more than twice each day. This obviously makes things easier to follow for the viewers out there. (HELLO TVTropolis!! Are you listening???)

4. The exception to this rule is found with most of the new shows which are spread out throughout the week sharing the same time slot rather than being featured every day at that same time. Those shows and times are the following:

7:00 am/6:00 pm/12:00 am

Mondays --- The New Adventures Of Superman

Tuesdays ---The New Adventures Of Batman

Wednesdays --- Fantastic Four

Thursdays --- The New Adventures Of Superman

Fridays --- The New Adventures Of Batman

Saturdays --- Transformers

Sundays --- G.I. Joe

11:00 am/8:30 pm/5:00 am

Mondays --- Yogi Bear

Tuesdays --- Quick Draw McGraw

Wednesdays --- Huckleberry Hound

Thursdays --- Top Cat

Fridays --- Captain Caveman

Saturdays --- Yogi Bear

Sundays --- Josie and the Pussycats

Everything else follows a normal pattern.

So there you have it. All in all, I would have to say that without a doubt, Teletoon Retro has by far the best fall schedule of any Canadian station out there. Imagine the competition being outclassed by a bunch of cartoons! I know what channel I'll be watching this fall. I hope you guys agree.
