I saw the first two episodes of Scrubs' 8th season. Good stuff. The first one is very good with some great TV jokes...right off the bat J.D. points to the bottom right hand corner of our screen and says..."that's new!" Get it? LOL! Courtney Cox joins as the Chief of Medicine and of course J.D. imagines her coming in a sexy way before she actually comes in. We also get a lot Facts of Life references and the tag scene at the end is HILARIOUS for TV fans. Basically, J.D. is telling Elliot and Turk that this is their eighth year at the hospital and they never win any medical awards because "Dr. Shalhouby" wins them all but J.D. thinks they are as good as anyone out there, but then Turk says "the Nielsens beg to differ," and then we see a real Nielsen family (a couple shaking theirs heads as patients), lol!
The second one is good, but not as smart as the premiere. It was nice though that J.D. remembers his dad again (played by the late great John Ritter).
