A lot of discussion about how mean Doug and Carrie have been this season. I think they are still funny to watch, even though they are definitely much more cruel and selfish than in season one. It reminds me of how the people on "Seinfeld" got so much meaner as the show went on. But they were always funny. I wouldn't want to be friends with them, but I liked watching them.

I don't think they've gotten meaner, per se. They are being just mischevous together.

Before one would do something that the other wouldn't approve of and make the other fix it. Now both are cohoots with each other.

It's kinda like Married with Children with Peg and Al.

They do seem meaner this season. I noticed it. They are much more snappy and bicker about everything - even dumb stuff. A bit of the charm is missing and a harder edge to the show is evident. It's hard to explain. :(

Yeah, they have become a bit meaner, but I don't think it has made the show less funny. This season has been one of my favorites.

Yep, I agree. They seem unhappier together this season although last night Carrie did have some soft moments of love toward Doug. Doug seems to yell more this season.

This season has been dreadful. They are mean, and not funny at all.
