I've been told that the TV show 'The Nanny' was veeeery much like ILL and I can really see that it's true. Was 'The Nanny' really the ILL of the 90's? Is Fran Drescher Lucille Ball's sucessor? You tell me..or us! :) :D :talk: :crazy:

Well, Fran has made no secret of the fact that she worshipped Lucy, so it's normal that as she and her hubby produced her series, that they imitated many I Love Lucy traits.

There is no way that you can even compare Fran to Lucy. It's like comparing Raggedy Ann to Barbie. Lucy is in a class by herself.

I think people usually mention the similarities in the two shows, but as much as i LIKE Fran, she is not fit to touch the hem of Lucy's BURNOOSE, LOL!
