Has anyone else heard that from now on Britney Spears video "Toxic' will not be aired anytime before 10pm?! Thats a bunch of bs if you ask me. I understand her diamond outfit is 'revealing', but I myself find it to be pretty and shes only by herself- not like shes humping a bunch of guys. If you ask me, I have seen far worse in rap videos and such. Im not saying Britney is a saint or anything, because shes not.. but just because of that whole Janet boobie thing, theyre getting all nervous. Britneys video has been out for a month and now they decide to do something? Give me a break!

Yeah I heard about that, and I think it is totally ridiculous. I also heard that Lil Jon's "Saltshaker" was also banned before 10 p.m.
There is a petition to "unban" "Toxic"... http://www.petitiononline.com/helpbrit/petition.html

Thank you, I signed the petition. :)
I, too, think its ridiculous. What are they gonna do now for TRL? She had the #1 video... I mean what, just show pics? Funny how MTV is the one that produced the Superbowl Halftime, and now theyre getting all 'goody-goody.'

The FCC came down real hard on Viacom (Which owns CBS/MTV and others) because of Ms. Jackson's incident. I bet you that a lot of things that expose skin are going to be cut down on or removed, and you can thank janet jackson and justin timberflake for that. :o
plus, it's not too bad. 10pm EST is 8pm MST here, so it's fine with me. :D

I just saw the video last nite and this morning before 10pm so I'm wondering if they even are banning it.

I love the Britney video "Toxic". I saw it a couple of weeks ago since it was on MTV in the daytime right before I came to work. That video was shown recently before the video was banned after 10:00 at night and they were showing on MTV's "After Hours".

here's the article from the Daily Freeman that I have mentioned before
Britney banned from daytime MTV
The boobygate fallout continues: MTV has banned Britney Spears' new video from being screened until late at night because it's too sexy.
The singer wears a see-through cat suit and cavorts with a man in an airplane bathroom in the video for "Toxic".
According to ananova.com, MTV bosses decided to move the video to the 10 PM to 6 AM schedule following the controversy over Janet Jackson's Super Bowl flash.
The channel said, in all, it had moved six videos to its late-night rotation. Others includes videos by alternative rock bands Blink 182, Maroon 5 and Incubus, whose video for "Megalomaniac" depicts an Adolf Hitler character with Angel's wings flying over a crowd.

I don't like Britney...at all...but I've seen the video, and there's really nothing in it that should have it banned. *shrugs*

How stupid...doesn't his wings get cut off eventually in the video? What it's trying to say is that no one's that great, and there's people out there who think they are...like Hitler. How stupid ohno:

total BS. I was watching MTV today and Toxic came on twice - at 5:30 and then again at 6:30 (Both early evening).
and there's nothing wrong with "This Love." they don't even show anything. unless MTV is a huge bunch of prudes and can't handle seeing a woman's back.

Adam Levine. *sigh* I'm so in love with him.
I think that "This Love" is a good video. Yeah, so she doesn't have a shirt or pants on...you can only see her back, though. Go to an awards show, and look at the dresses. You can see women's *dramatic gasp* BACKS!! And, Oh my God, he said "coming." They should definitely bleep that out, too.
