I always loved the house used to show the exterior shots on the Hogan Family. It looked like a beautiful house. Does anyone know if the house is real or just a set?

The episode where the house catches on fire leads me to believe that it might have been a set design because they obviously wouldn't set a real house on fire unless they could use computer images to make it look like it's really burning.

Most houses used on sitcomes are real. But there are some that aren't.

I think it was a real house, but I'm not exactly sure. If it is real, I'm sure they built a replica of it for when it catches on fire.

The interior of the house looks a lot like the house from "Step by Step".

According to Jeremy Licht the exterior of the house was shot somewhere in Pasadena, CA and all the snow, rain or fire was generated.
