I've found some wonderful "footage" of Rick doing some 33 of his songs, apparently on the O&H show. These were found on the RickNelson official website. The quality is not great, as they are only thumbnail views. Three of them especially have my interest. The three are 1) Hello Mary Lou, 2) A Happy Guy, 3) Whatcha Gonna Do?. My question is, Is there somewhere a correlation listing between his song titles and the O&H episode in which they were broadcast? I would like to obtain higher quality tapes or (?) of Rick and his band doing these three songs as they appear on his official website. Thanks

I've watched these clips too, but there is no listing that I'm aware of that tells which episode Rick sang which of the songs on. They've cut out all his singing on the recent DVDs too, which is a shame. I have a few VCR tapes where Rick sings in the episode or at the end, but since the program production quality was never that great, they aren't much better than what is on the website. That too is a real shame. I hope the remastered DVDs will be better and include the singing.

As I view the tapes again, I'll try to make a list of the episode names and/or tape volumes they are in for you.

What I really want is a complete session list with recording dates and backup musicians. I guess if you have both Legecy and American Dreams sets, you can make your own list. Do you have these? I have Legecy, but only copies of AD, so didn't get a booklet. Did you know the Four Preps never recorded with Rick, just did the TV show?

A list of the episodes and songs that Rick sang in or at the end of them is listed in the appendix of "The Rick Nelson Story by Stafford and Young. It also, a list of the color episodes at the bottom of the same page.
