Last night on Average Joe, NBC ran a commercial stating the SERIES FINALE of ED. This Friday Night (February 6 2004 9PM Eastern). It is now confirmed Ed will NOT be returning for the Fall 2004 lineup.

Its sad that Ed is ending. Last weeks episode was really good but at least the're going to get a propper ending.

Ed fulfilled its syndication commitments. I hope ABC Family picks it up.
so if it is officially cancelled i have to see the last episode and i missed it PLEASE help me.

As I've already indicated in the thread referring to TV critic Alan Sepinwall, NBC is lying and no final decision on "Ed" has been made. So - THERE! :p

NBC has signed Julie Bowen for its new comedy pilot The Friendlys (NBC Studios) about a family which inherits a candy factor from a dead relative. Dave Foley, Billy Gardell and Ana Gasteyer had been cast earlier.

Well, I guess we won't have to wait until May for "official" word from NBC, will we? :eek:

Great plots, Great Acting, Great Scripts, Feel-good series!! Should had lasted more than four seasons!!
