One guy was a rocker kinda dude, like Patrick from last year. They compared him to Patrick, and said that while Patrick seemed "fake", the auditioner didnt. They were also worried about him having to fit in the different themes (a difficulty Nikki, Josh had) so he sang "A Whole New World", which kind of screwed him up, but he still got through.

There was this kinda "unique" girl, if you will, she's kinda rockish.. punkish.. like Nikki, except without the red hair. She sang "Uninvited" by alanis morrissette really well, but also had the "if we had a 'neil sedaka' theme, how would you do" from Simon... She sang "At Last" to prove her transversity, and she got through.

Um.... then some other stuff were the "excuse thing" where it would show clips of a bagillion excuses.

They showed some auditioners who auditioned for the 1st and 2nd season, that auditioned for the 3rd and got through!

Remember Alan Ritchinson (the Paula serenader that got through this season)? Well he auditioned last season but didnt make it.

After i rewatch my tape tomorrow i might be able to tell you more, but thats it for now :) Hope that helped

I'm also taping the episodes. Which is why it's upsetting that I missed the first half because I was only able to tape the last half of tonight's episode with the other episodes that I already have on tape of this season.

I saw this episode. It was a real jehovahsend to see an episode with almost nothing but good auditions. I didn't know that Edgar (the guy from last season who not only sang horribly but auditioned twice) auditioned this season. I wasn't disappointed that they didn't show his audition because it would have probably been the same old, same old.
