ABC can't get enough of "George Lopez."
Alphabet web has picked up four more episodes of the Warner Bros. TV comedy, bringing its season total to 28. Net had previously bumped its order from 22 to 24 in December (Daily Variety, Dec. 8).
"Lopez" helped relaunch ABC's "TGIF" franchise this season; season to date, the show has averaged a 2.8 rating/10 share among adults 18-49.
The laffer, now in its third season, stars Lopez as a man juggling his family life with his career as the plant manager for an L.A. airplane parts factory.
Bruce Helford, Robert Borden, Deborah Oppenheimer and Sandra Bullock exec produce; Helford's Mohawk Prods. and Bullock's Fortis Films share production credit with Warner Bros. TV.
