Wrong board. I'm sick of bad auditions but everything else about American Idol is just as great as ever. I think you're just looking for something to hate on because everyone's hating on you right now.

actually it's called stating my opinion. And i could care less if a few people are 'hating' on me. UmmmK:D

Despite the fact that I hate all the other reality shows, I like American Idol. I like watching the auditions- good and bad. I like it because of the music and hearing new voices and seeing new faces. Its interesting.

I don't watch it so I really don't care. I do think that there are way too many reality shows on though.

I didn't watch a whole lot of the first American Idol, more of the second one and so far all of the third one. I think it's a good show and I'm not sick of it yet.

I actually think American Idol is the best way to get discovered, because you see their strengths, weaknesses, and everything about them, prior to their first album.

Also, i dont think its getting old! Its just in its 3rd season, and actually, i think there'll be a lot of them to be honest. Even when i grow out of it, i think it will still be going on. It's FOX's number 1 show

Heck no! I think this is an awesome show that will be around for a while. The thing I like about this show is the progression. It starts with the ocapella auditions and ends with two excellent, awesome, and extremely musically talented individuals vieing for the title of American Idol, not to mention the nonstop competition in the middle. You can really tell the beginning, middle, and end and each stage is great to watch.

They didn't cancel That 70's Show. It still airs on Wednesdays or Mondays, which ever day they air that pathetic excuse for a comedy.

I think the only interesting episodes of American Idol are the auditions. After those are over, it gets kind of boring.

I'm kinda getting tired of the auditions. They aren't as funny as they were in past seasons. Too many of them just seem fake. It's getting repetitive. Hopefully I'll like the rest of the season better.

I voted "no way I love it". The show is still fun to watch and I've seen all the episodes from the beginning of AI1. The show is only getting more and more popular. And has many more viewers.

Hopefully in AI4, they'll cut back on the airing of the bad auditions. They went overboard on those in Houston. It is one of those cases in which too much of a good thing (or bad thing, depending on how you see it) is not good. Don't get me wrong, I like watching the bad auditions but it is bad when three-quarters of the episode are fillem with them. But at least Simon had some really funny stuff to say. I think he was funnier this season than last season.

It is Fox's highest rated show aside from The Simpsons. But I talked to PB about the ratings and he said that Fox's other series are not doing well in the Nielsens. Without AI and The Simpsons, Fox would be screwed.

I watched the audition episode, but have no interest in the rest of it. It was all the same.

Simon: That was absolutely horrdeous. That's the worst thing I've ever heard in my life

Paula: I love your style, but you're really not what we're looking for.

Randy: It's a no for me.

Audtioner: (outside the room, in tears) They just made the biggest mistake ever because this face is going to be on every album cover. I could have made them alot of money. (mother hugs them)

Mom: It's okay dear, they don't know anything. You're really great....

After seeing this five times, it got old for me.

And without AI, yes, Fox would be screwed. Almost every one of their series are down this year, except Saturday. The only bright light on that network outside of AI is The OC.

That's where we see talent. The auditions are just the start. I cant wait till then. :)

I'm surprised the girl that called Simon gay didn't get cut. Paula really gave her a tongue lashing.

I like american Idol. I like this season better than season 2 so far... but yeah it was annoying watching all the bad singers, they weren't much fun. I really enjoyed last nights episode. Some stuff was really funny. haha

I have to agree with you there. I hope that big guy (not the Hawaiian guy) in the group with Jesus makes it but in one of the promos it doesn't look like that will happen.

I was stunned when I heard that Kira made it. If she remains in the running for the title, she would give AI a bad taste in its mouth.

I was surprised, too, but then my dad said they probably kept her because they hadn't tortured her enough yet. They'll cut her late in the game. What a big-mouth. You've gotta be a real jerk for Paula to freak out on you. ohno:

all reality shows need to die

I also think Simon is unnecessarily rude to people. I think it's funny he tells people they don't deserve a recording contract because they "can't sing", when we have people like J. Lo and Britney selling millions upon millions of albums, and neither of those are exactly what you'd call a good singer.

I also think people make too big a political issue over American Idol, IT'S ENTERTAINMENT, PEOPLE!! I mean, when Tamyra Gray was voted off, I remember a lot of people making a huge political deal about "she was voted off because racist whites don't want a black idol". And you still see mud flung between both Clay and Ruben fans, which I find funny because I DON'T GIVE TWO CRAPS ABOUT EITHER!!!!
