Luke Skywalker or Han Solo

Which of these Star Wars hero's do you like best and why?

I'm choosing Solo. He's smooth, charming, sarcastic, and has the whole thing with Leia going on which I've always enjoyed. Plus he's played by the totally hot Harrison Ford, one of the best male actors of mordern times, maybe all times.

I do like Skywalker too but I find him a little too whiny more often than not, although he's more bearable in Return of the Jedi.

I haven't watched the movies in a long time, but I always thought Princess Leia was the coolest because she was a girl and could fight...but that's just my opinion. :D

Each character served a purpose.

Luke Skywalker was the character you could relate to.

Han Solo was the character you wanted to be like.

Luke skywalker was fantastic....but Han solo was just so ...well um HOT!

Han Solo for pretty much the same reasons you gave, and besides, Harrison Ford's one of my favorite actors.

Good question!

Han Solo is a rogue who does things his way. He shoots first (I'm ignoring what George Lucas tried to do in the special edition version of A New Hope) and asks questions later. And despite his best efforts to keep a low profile and go quietly about his illegal business, he becomes one of the heroes of the Rebellion against the Empire.

Plus he took a shot at Darth Vader. Not the brightest thing to do I'll grant you that, but gotta admit he's got cojones.
