What do any of you see in Liza Snyder?

I am very curious as to what it is that people see in Liza Snyder. Do any of you know her personally? If so, to what degree?

The reason I asked the above question is because I find it SOOO amazing that people get "sucked in" to someones "television image". Being someone who works in the "industry" myself, I just can not get over the fact that people think you are who you portray on Television or feature films..... how many of you know her personally and would WANT to be friends with Liza? Just curious

well, IMO, Liza and Mike both prove you don't have to be stick figures and yet be attractive in Hollywood. I personally think both are much more attractive (even tho i think Mike could personally stand to lose about 20 lbs) than Anthony or Jean Louisa.

Is Liza a traditional beauty along the lines of Carmen Electra or Pamela Anderson? not at all, but she is very natural and much prettier than people wish to credit her for. Same with Mike, he's gotten a little big but anyone who remembers him on Guts will notice that Mike CAN be cute when he wants to be, even tho it wouldn't hurt him getting back into shape a little better.

I am VERY close friends with Liza Snyders Brother, Sister in Law, and neices and nephews. Sadly, off camera she is a tirant. She has a BAD nasty attitude and her favorite word to use (like every other word) is the famous "F" word. SHe has ZERO class or cooth what so ever.
I heard a tape recorded conversation between her, her brother and sister in law, and EVERYTHING out of her mouth was the F word. It was so shocking and sad....I'd hate to see what would happen if the news media got a hold of it...... it was discusting! I feel so bad for her Brother and sister in law, in what she said to them and how she treats them...it is just aweful! She should be ASHAMED of herself!
She and her mother are the same. They both SWEAR profusly, have bad attitudes, are selfish and think the whole world revolves around them. They are FAKE FAKE FAKE in public (big smiles....ya know...being actresses) (because they have a "reputation" to up hold) but I'd love to see what the public would think when they found out who they REALLY were and how they REALLy were to people...especially family...it is SICK! And what Liza and her mother put these poor people through.......it is appauling. Liza has..... well.... a WEEE bit of a problem...but I won't get into it here, but based on her up bringing....it's no wonder.

I could NEVER EVER see her being a parent in real life which is why she has not had any children to this date....hopefully she will never have any. Her poor kids...what they'd go through. She can't even keep a relationship because of her addictions and problems.

Try not to idolize people on TV too much honey..... it will only devastate, discust, and disappoint you in the long run when the truth of who they REALLY are comes out. Sadly, Hollywood is FAKE, it is all a lie just to gain fans and is heart breaking to those who idolize these folks. Most of which have ZERO ethics or morals. Most of which have some sort of drug, alcohol or other addiction, they cheat on their spouses with out blinking an eye and will screw family any time they get a chance but...........they don't want their "public" to know about it.

I'm so sorry to disappoint you...so in answer to your quesiton...yes I do know Liza personally...and I know a LOT of others who know her as well and it is NOT a pretty site.

when her little baby nephew passed away at 8 months old..... she offered no solace to her brother and sister in law....she didn't go to the funeral, offer to help this family get through these trying times or anything....and that's just the tip of the ice burg. You may think it is funny.......but frankly it is discusting and heartless. and if you do......(think it's funny that is) than your a pretty sad person indeed and we won't waste any more time with you.

I think she'd be great on the sharon osbourne show and Sharon would like her, no I don't know her personally as you say you do, but look at sharon does SHE have any class? and Liza will say she doesn't have any class woopty doo...there could be more behind her relationship with her brother you don't know. I've looked up to her for awhile think she's funny and a great actress adn don't care how she is in real life that's HER PERSONAL life, and I'm not gonna stop looking up to her as an actress b/c of the way she is as LIZA. I don't know her personally, but I do know that she cares a great deal about her fans. If she really is like you described (which I don't know if I believe), then she doesn't seem like a very good person. But I have no proof of what her off-screen life is like, so I'm not going to judge her. I just don't know who you think you are, coming here and being rude to her fans.

well I'll reiterate in that we do have the(several) tape recorded phone conversations with her on it and I assure you that IS indeed how she is. It is so funny how she has convinced you that she's such a great person. How funny. That is the problem with most fans...you can so pull the wool over there eyes and "suck them into" the unreality you've created, then the fans are so quick to spend money on them and buy their movies and tapes etc....what a joke. You must be very young (lizasfan) and ignorant to life. Someday you'll look back upon this (you and riff) and realize what suckers you were to get sucked into her world. how sad.

If you had a clue as to who I was, I'd lay ten to one odds you wouldn't be responding to me the way you are right now...you'd probably end up joining MY fan club! HA! lol

BUT I can say it is truly sad....sad for you, that you think not helping your own brother and sister in law thru the death of their little baby boy(and her nephew) to be not a big deal. It is sad, that you don't think that being selfish is a problem...no matter....it tells me not only what kind of person you are now....but what kind of person you'll be down the line....and you, ultimately are the only one who has to live with it. Your the one that has to look yourself in the eye.

You say maybe there is more to her brother that I don't know about.......trust me when I say I know EVERYTHING about her brother and he is a super super guy. He and his wife donate their time to the domestic violence centers and do a LOT for those in need....something Liza doesn't do what so ever.

I am a fan of many celebrities. However, they are not my "idols". I am a fan of their work, not their personal life. I like the characters they portray, the way they portray them, etc. I am well aware that celebrities are not like the people they play. That is why they are ACTORS. Though, you seem to be implying that most actors are this way. I'm sure there are a lot of actors who aren't very good people, but then there are also a lot who are. It really goes for anyone.

Don't know the backstory between her and her brother -- not going to pass judgment. But in other unhappy family news, according to Jennifer Aniston (Hey, there's another phony celebrity with a bad attitude -- and she curses, too! What a whore!), all throughout her childhood, her mother told her she had a big forehead, her eyes were too close together, and she was ugly. And then the woman wrote a "tell-all" book. The end result? Jennifer disowned her mommy, and didn't invite her to her wedding. Seems perfectly reasonable to me! Don't alienate your relatives, and they'll be there for you when you need them. Alienate them, and... well, when one of your loved ones buys the farm, you better hope they're willing to let bygones be bygones. Is that what happened here?

very true. It's not like Liza is on Jennifer Aniston or Patricia Heaton's level as a tv star. Let her have her fans. She does a good job as Christine and I like her in the role. You CAN like a character an actor plays without being a huge fan of the actor themselves (something a lot of people who boycott "liberal celebrities" who don't agree with their way of thinking should read a page or two on). Also, I believe this is a message board for the show Yes, Dear, not an Anti-Liza-Snyder one. She is an important part of the show, she is talented, she is very attractive, therefore she is going to have fans. Fans are generally people who enjoy the work of an artist enough to follow his/her career, correct? So what's your problem? I understand how you can be disappointed that someone you consider so dishonorable a person can gain a following of people whom you consider to be blinded by Hollywood illusions, but there is no sense in preaching to the converted. We like Liza because she possesses the gift of playing believable roles that take our minds off whatever crap we happen to not want to think about at the time.

Which brings me to my next observation, and forgive me if I offend you here, but... you are coming across as someone who is extremely envious of Liza's slightly more successful career than your own to the point of you taking personal experiences with her and blowing them out of proportion. If the relationship you claim she has with her brother is in fact true, then that is their own personal problem. (The thing with her brother - well, there are two sides to EVERY story and the truth tends to be found only in the middle. And also - it's not like she freaking killed someone.) How dare you spread someone else's dirty laundry around for the sake of making them look like terrible human beings! That, to me, is what makes you come across as jealous. She is human. Finally...LizaSfan is a good friend of mine. (By the way, your accusations of her personality are in fact completely incorrect.) I was with her at the YD taping after which Liza made one of her dreams come true. I have never felt happier for someone than when I did that moment Liza went out of her way to walk over to Elaina after she got her attention, and told us to come down onto the set. She came around to the side of the set we had to go to exit the audience section and waited for us. We got to mingle with the cast and crew, get photos taken, Liza even took Elaina's 8x10 around the set for each cast member to sign. We got to watch Mike film a promo for the show. Liza also walked us out to where we needed to go to leave because it was dark. She was cool to chill with because I happen to have a similar personality to hers which made me feel comfortable around her.

I know that's not much compared to your "knowing" her family or whatever, but that was OUR experience with her and that is what we're going to base our feelings off of. So sue us for not knowing her personally, o' high and mighty one.
