LOL--I loved all of those and still laugh thinking about them. Here are a few that stick with me:


(Mrs. G's phony musician son is in town and Blair is stating her case that he is indeed a phony.)

There are just so many, and I used to could quote hundreds of them. Like I said in a previous post the obsession has worn off even though I never miss an episode of FOL, but I still can't recall all the hundreds of quotes I used to know...I like my signature quote too!

Adele, the first two times "Teenage Marriage" was aired it had the "potatoe" part in it. It seems everytime N@N airs an episode for the second or third time it edits something out. Perhaps they thought "potatoe peeling" to be too controversial. Ya never know with the guys at N@N. Soon will just be seeing the opening and ending credits...

yes.. infact the one about jo being pregnant ALSO came from teh episode called Teenage Marriage Parts 1 and 2.... these are from USA episodes that i have on tape.. the first quote is from teh episode called The Source... so many of these quotes you may not know unless you have USA versions of FOL episodes on tape or have seen them... but i DID know that, that part was taken out... but NaN cuts out A LOT of stuff!!! BELIEVE ME!!!

no... i got my teenage marriage on tape from NaN during the marathon and in the first rotation of Facts of Life from Nick at Nite and it DID NOT have the potato peeling thing in it.. ONLY TE USA version of this ep has it.. (well and the NBC version but that's different) so NaN plays the SAME edited stuff out EVERYTIME!!! trsut me! I've been watchign FOL since it first started on Nick at Nite.. and i started taping it then too.. so i would know if more things were edited out later on...

I got my tape of "Teenage Marriage" from the first actual run, not the marathon and it has the potatoe peeling thing.

positive that i taped it from teh first run (not on the marathon) it was on a saturday night... i'm most positive of that... and it was the FIRST Time i saw FOL on NaN and i stayed up until like 2 or 3 in teh morning to tape it.. i have NOT watched that tape in like FOREVER... soo i will watch it and see if it has te potato peeling thing... but it was 2 saturdays before the second airing of the week marathon that aired on NaN... i'll check it, but i don't remember that part and i spent all of the sunday AFTER i taped it watching that 2 parter over and over and i memorized it PRETTY well!! haah!! ok.. common!! more quotes!! here's some more of mine...

Yes... i have all 3 of thsoe epsidoes on tape and have seen them and i have TONS more eps that NaN doesn't show... as for the Fear Strikes Back.. it happens that i have a MAJOR break up of the episode that i sent in an email to somebody... i can post it if you TRUELY want it... but the thing is that there are others that it could spoil it for... anyhoo.. about your other question... The reason that Breaking Point is probably not shown on NaN is because this girl Cynthia kills herself on it by overdosing on pills... USA kinda cut out the part at might not have been appropriate for kids who are younger to see where cynthia is ACTUALLY lying on the floor unconcious... but it's a very powerful and sad episode that is not apporpriate for some younger kids to see... if NaN showed the USA version i dont think it would be at all bad... it shows the positive things you can do when you feel like killing your self like talking to somebody about it or making a list of all the good qualities about yourself... And about I'm Dancing As Fast As I Can... wow!! HOT GUYS IN THAT EP!! haha... anyways... it's where Jo and Blair bring mrs. garrett to a male strip club... and WOW!! I'm sure the reason is the part where all the guys are like practically NAKED!!! haha... they are in like spedoes and stuff.. but WHEW!!! they are hot... even for it being the 80's!!! I'd gladly go to that club!! ahha... too bad i'm under 18!! ARGH!! haha... but after Blair finds out that cliff was one of the strippers the conversation about stipping and being nude infront of people you dont know and getting paid to dance naked comes up A LOT and therefore is probably not a good episode for the younger viewers either... But it took NaN a LONG time before they started playing episodes from other shows... including the jefferson's, all in the family, brady bunch!! I mena... it takes time and i'm sure they will be shown eventually!! I'd really apprechiate it if you post it because don't think us as FOL fans would ever get to see it on N@N and I think we are all very curious what goes on in that episode.
