Yeah I left SO for awhile too, not over anybody or anything just simply because I didn't have the time to come here anymore. For awhile I thought I wouldn't come back, I would look at the site name on my favorite's and think "screw it," but then one day I decided to see how everything was going over here and I've been back since.

I start my 1st sem. of college tomorrow, and I'm majoring in English as well...For me, I have to take Comp I, Speech and Algebra...I had two choices...Intermediate or College (I chose the former), and I have the option of taking an elective class, so I'm taking Ceramics I. That's the class I have tomorrow :D

I'm not sure if you know the diff. between intermediate and college algebra...but college is harder than intermediate, and I didn't exactly do well in algebra in HS, either...so yeah :)

Ouch..3rd lowest? I think I would have placed the same. When I brought my books last week, I grabbed up an answer book thing for my intermediate algebra book (it was optional)...I'm THAT bad. :D

Earlier this evening before she called, I read her post, too. She and I talked for a while on the phone about everything, and thankfully I helped her see things differently. I don't blame her for being upset but like I told her, there are people who aren't worth getting that upset over. Yeah, there really are plenty of good of people here. It's a shame there are those who enjoy starting things.

It's not airing anywhere on national television right now as far as I know. I mentioned it because I looked up Carol Burnett on the IMDB and along the way I ended up on Vicki Lawrence's page and I saw her credit in Laverne and Shirley.

Yeah, I've known about that for a while. Unfortunately, I found out AFTER they stopped airing L&S. :crying:

I just hate it when that happens. I didn't know that Patt Buttram, Eva Gabor, and Eleanor Audley were on Green Acres until after it left Nick at Nite years ago. Those names are special to me because I am a huge fan of Disney and they were in my favorite Disney movies. Patt Buttram was the voice of the Sheriff of Nottingham in "Robin Hood", which is one of two of my absolute favorite Disney films of all time (I'm not mentioning the other one). Eva Gabor was the voice of Bianca in The Rescuers movies. Eleanor Audley was probably best known as the voice of Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty.

I remember reading that in the late 1990s Disney recalled a huge amount of The Rescuers tapes because there were nude images in this one scene if viewed frame by frame. I didn't notice. I loved that movie. I don't know which is better, The Rescuers or The Rescuers Down Under. I didn't know how big a star Bob Newhart was back then. When those movies were made, two of his biggest shows were near the end of their run.

Oh gawd if they make a sequel to "Robin Hood" I am never going to watch it. The current sequels are about to head to the vault for the next 10 years but I don't think I'll be missing them.

Heh heh heh...I didn't hear about that recall, so it's most likely I have the original movie from when they first came out with both movies.

I have this toy called Fisher Price Movie Viewer that came out in the 80's with a bunch of cartridges you could pop in and there was a lever thing on the side that you moved around to play the movie...I have a Rescuers mini-movie cartridge for it...It's one of the six I still have. They haven't made those since the 80's.

 I mean, really. My mom's been subscribing to Entertainment Weekly on and off since 1988 or so (maybe earlier...I don't know when EW first got started), but her current ongoing subscription has been going for a few years now...I remember once, at the beginning of last year, she got her EW mag in the mail and I mean, LITERALLY, there were upcoming movie titles that were ALL FREAKING SEQUELS ON THE MAG COVER!!!! I've never seen so many numbers in my life on a mag cover.

God. One of the reasons I want to get rid of my mags (besides the celebs I hate) is because, on every cover, there's always **** about sex and dating and how to get a boy...WHATEVER. I don't need that. I'm not interested in dating boys now. And if I want to start dating, I will NOT consult a stupid magazine for dating advice.
