I remember a funny Charlie Brown strip I saw a couple of years ago where Charlie and Lucy were having a conversation about grades, and Lucy said something like, "This is awful work!" and Charlie said, "Do I get a F?" and Lucy said, "No, it's more like a Z."

(It was something like that anyway...that was a LONG time ago when I saw it...it was in a book. )

 Poor Charlie Brown. He never got a break from her. There's one where she opens up a stand where you have to pay something like a dollar to talk about your problems and she'll give you a advice. Charlie goes up and pays, but then regrets it.

Magazines used to be a lot cheaper. My friends and I bought Teen Beat and Bop for cheap, so I mean paying four bucks for a YM is just...ridiculous. I don't even remember how much they were, but I don't think they were over 2 bucks.

AUGUST 1

BEN & JEN: THE MOVIE: Gigli. Ben Affleck plays a mobster
who's hired to kill a powerful federal prosecuter. (Yeah,
Ben's real intimidating.) If that wasn't ridiculous enough,
when he botches the job, Jennifer Lopez, an even less
believable hit woman, is called in to clean up the mess.
See it: with a guy. Action for him, romance for you. During the
really lame parts, you can make out. It's a win-win situation.

Hmmm, sounds like YM already knew Gigli was going to bomb before everybody saw it in theaters.

it isnt that overwhelming here..lol i used to like the woods cologne, but yeah that got annoying after like a week..so i stopped using that and bought fierce..I LOVE THAT COLOGNE, its the one i currently use..because the one i really want i would have to order online, and i dont have the time/money to do that..so yeah im happy with that. o o i need to post my experience at af today...see next post, but yeah i need to type it out for my journal too...so this will kill 2 birds with one stone.

I cut up all my mags like mad when I was in junior high. As a result, I totally destroyed all the mags I had before late 1998. I used to have the premiere issue of Teen People (I think that debuted in early 1998), but I cut that up. :( And it was back when Teen People used staple binding (a la its mother mag, People Weekly). It wasn't til about 2-3 years later they started using glue binding.

I haven't cut anything since then, tho...I don't want to.

omg, this kids away message....

If aliens from outer space ever come and we show them our civilization and they make fun of it, we should say we were just kidding, that this isn't really our civilization, but a gag we hoped they would like. Then we tell them to come back in twenty years to see our real civilization. After that, we start a crash program of coming up with an impressive new civilization. Either that, or just shoot down the aliens as they're waving good-bye.

I think my friends would think I have a mental instability if I put these lyrics in my profile.

The sun comes up - I think about you
The coffee cup - I think about you
I want you so, it's like I'm losing my mind
The morning ends - I think about you
I talk to friends and think about you
And do they know it's like I'm losing my mind?
All afternoon doing every little chore
The thought of you stays bright
Sometimes I stand in the middle of the floor
Not going left - not going right
I dim the lights and think about you
Spend sleepless nights to think about you
You said you loved me, or were you just being kind?
Or am I losing
Losing my mind?
All afternoon doing every little chore
The thought of you stays bright
Sometimes I stand in the middle of the floor
Not going left - not going right
I dim the lights and think about you
Spend sleepless nights to think about you
You said you loved me
Or were you just being kind?
Or am I losing my mind?
Or am I losing my mind?
You said you loved me
Or were you just being kind?
Or am I losing my mind?

They have cool dramas. I'm into crime dramas and private investigator series like Simon & Simon, Magnum, p.i., Perry Mason, etc. Today is Mystery Sunday. They had McMillan and Wife (with Rock Hudson), Banacek (with George Peppard as the titular character), Kojak and Hawaii Five-O. Magnum, p.i. is coming up in half an hour. (Must be PMS time for me...I haven't been like this for a month already)

It's so fucking annoying. I was scanning my Twist mags, and I came upon some older issues where one of the article titles on the cover was "JESSICA AND NICK'S BREAKUP" or something like that....Here's an example. What a ****ing loser. This is from Aug. '01. "How Jessica Simpson got through the worst time of her life". MY ****ING ASS.

Ya know, a few weeks back, J.S. came back to North Texas and made an appearance at her old high school, J.J. Pearce in Richardson, amid much fanfare. Now if I were in charge at J.J. Pearce and my most famous alumni was a complete IDIOT, I would NOT go around publicizing it...

2 months till auditions..well 1 1/2 really

PZelda

Haha, I found this funny. Most of the time, I usually don't buy the same mag, month after month...But I noticed this when I was working on my inventory.

August 2002 – Jennifer Aniston (have scan)
February 2003 – Avril Lavigne (have scan)
March 2003 – Jennifer Aniston (have scan)
May/June 2003 – Avril Lavigne (have scan)

I don't have any Twist mags (that is where part of this list is from) between Aug. '02 and Feb. '03, so yeah.

Which reminds me, I had the damndest wildest dream the other night: There was this "reality show" of some sort for these classic TV actors -- no, not "The Surreal Life" but definitely surreal. And for some wild reason, they were having a sword-fighting tournament -- and I was training Steve. Now Steve was going to be in an important match and I was kinda pep talking on the sidelines and all that when I noticed he was looking at me kinda funny and moving his head right when I moved mine -- weird stuff like that. So, after a bit of this, I said, "Are you fishing?" He said "Yup!" and kissed me full on the lips. Now, I've never been kissed before :o but boy, oh, boy...that just hit the spot. Anyway, Steve was called out to the field; I'm not going to bore you with a technical play-by-play, but he won. And just when we were about to kiss again... I woke up.:(

I'm going to Michigan State.

I also sent out an application to the University of Michigan only because my mom made me. I was also going to apply to Central Michigan and Western Michigan but once State accepted me, I didn't even send those in.
