This is the look Seventeen had going from....Oh, early 2002 til just a few issues ago (I think December 2003). Just recently, Seventeen switched to the logo they used in the 70's/80's.

In The Phantom of the Opera, a young singer, Christine, is charmed by a mysterious specter who haunts the Paris Opera house. Based on Gaston Leroux's famous novel, the musical's tale begins as unexplained accidents have been occurring throughout the Paris Opera, and the stuck-up diva, Carlotta, refuses to go on. Christine takes her place and is a triumph. At her opening night, she meets her childhood friend, Raoul. Alone in her dressing room, she finally meets the Phantom who has taught her to sing so beautifully. Taking her to his lair in the misty catacombs beneath the Opera House, the Phantom declares his love for Christine, but she soon learns his terrible secret. The story moves from the Phantom's underground hideaway to the dizzying roof of the Opera House, as the Phantom and Raoul battle for Christine's love.

 I think I might have a few late-90's issues with Christina on the cover, but for now, I have a couple of covers from 2000 I scanned in that has her on em...I actually thought she looked pretty then. Now...WTF?

(July 2000)

She was a pretty girl then but she's the one (I think) who has really changed. I wonder what it'll be like for her to look back.

Their's more to come if I don't have any more error pages over there. Thats happened about 4 or 5 times today.

 You've been doing really well lately.. I wonder why you're getting those errors all of a sudden? And so many of them, too. The only thing that's popped up for me is when I tried to upload a picture thinking it was a jpg, when it was actually a gif. That and having to wait so long when I had the Adam-12 and ODAAT pictures.

With all of the ones you have, most likely.

My oldest Seventeens are from '86 through around '89 or so.

It's most likely the pics aren't valid JPG's. Weird, I know. But if you save :grr: (the smiley) and try to open it up in Paint or whatever, you'll get that error. :(

I don't know. When I go back to the page and resubmit the photo it goes through.

Hot damn, now I have scans of all my Seventeen covers, but I'm missing the October 2003 issue (it must've gotten lost in the mail when I moved) and the December 2003 issue (I probably threw it into my other mag box).

Now on to the JANE covers...

I have the premiere issue of JANE from when it 1st premiered in September 1997! :woohoo:

Don't have my scanner with me but I'll look around for those covers so you can see. :) It's so much fun to go back through them. I also have one or two Jane mags, but I can't find those. :(

 I may have to just wait until I get my scanner back because I'm not finding squat. But anyway, this was in the April 1967 issue of Seventeen magazine.
