Mine was about a week late. :( The last time I got it was like two weeks before Christmas, I think.

Stress...it just gets worse...I've really noticed that in the last year or two...Mine keeps getting lighter with every month...But the "residual effects" afterwards lingers for a LONG time, if y'know what I mean.

I was on this terrible birth control that stops your period and prevents you from getting pregnant, totally messed my body up..I gained like 30 pounds from it because one of the side effects is increased appetite; thank the Lord I was skinny when I got on it..:D

I went to Washington DC almost 2 years ago, in April 2002...I was with a group of 2 other girls...I was the 1st to walk through the metal detector before my 1st flight...the last girl that walked through forgot to take off her belt, and she got beeped at the metal detector.

Sanford and Son (2 eps)
Good Times (2 eps)
The Bob Newhart Show
Maude
All in the Family
The Streets of San Francsico

I still do not have him in an episode of Hawaii Five-0....

But I have him in old, cheesy made for TV movies that are really hard to find, and The cast of Barney Miller on Family Feud, that I treasure (Thanks Cathy)...

I have the syndicated airings from 1978-1985 and original airings from 1986-1991.
I should retape the show during the next rerun cycle on Soapnet because they are airing the show uncut.

UPDATED Mon Jan 12 12:36:44

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fosse last night was TOTALLY AMAZING!!!!! Here are all the details including costumes and stuff!!

FIRST HALF: We got to the edinburgh playhouse at about 7.15 - we were quite near the front, about the 6th or 7th row back - great view!! The show started with total darkness, and one spotlight lit up the middle of the stage and there was ruthie!!!! I wanted to scream, i was shaking it was so exciting!!! The atmosphere was so great! Then ruthie sung Life is just a bowl of Cherries (briliantly of course!!) Then there was a big dance number. I couldn't see Ruthie in it (she wasn't in many of the dance only songs) but then suddenly I saw her right at the front (she just kind of appeared!!) and they did Bye Bye Blackbird. More dance numbers, and then it was Big Spender! There was a long line of 10 girls (including ruthie-wearing a cool stripey dress) in a line, and they all came forward 2 this bar one by one, and then ruthie came forward last and they sung hey big spender it was GREAT!! Lots more dance numbers, I cant remember what one it was but there were all these guys up ladders like the one in Chicago - that one was cool! Then ruthie came on again and sung 'dancing in the dark' with some dancers. Then two guys and a girl did Steam Heat and it was the interval!

SECOND HALF: The curtain went back up and everyone cheered as ruthie came on to do I gotcha (wearing a black sequin dress). The dance looked really hard but of course ruthie was great at it!! Then there was more dance numbers and Me and My Shadow. Then, the one I was really looking forward to, Mein Herr because I love Cabaret the film!! Ruthie was in the front on a chair, and some dancers were behind her on chairs doing really hard looking moves!! After that song I was screaming so loud my brother kept telling me 2 shut up! Then more cool dancing and a guy sung "razzle dazzle", and then 3 guys did "mr bojangles." Ruthie came back on and it went all dark again exept for the spotlight and she did "Life Is Just A Bowl Of Cherries" again before she announced the finale which was "Sing, Sing, Sing."

Everyone went off the stage and they called out the names of the cast and they each came on. Then they shouted out "MISS RUTHIE HENSHALL" and I stood up and started screaming!! I was all on my own and looked like a screaming idiot but I didn't really care!! And soon loads more people behind me stood up too! I didn't get to meet ruthie at the end because
a) i had no idea where the stage door actually was and
b) we could hear them all having a party or something inside for the last night so i thought they might not come out till later.

But a FANTABULOUS performance!!!!!!!!!!!!

God, I wrote loads!! Sorry for going on and on, RUTHIE ROCKS!!

Lame-ass music compilations! -- kidzbopthis, 09:39:31 01/21/04 Wed (216.196.198.139)
Few things make me want to jam a screwdriver into my ears quite like those stupid "Kidz Bop" or "Worship Together" commercials.
First, most of the Kidz Bop "hits" were crap *before* they hired some preschoolers to sing it karaoke-style. Why anyone would pay money for this is beyond me. Nevermind that some of the songs have lyrics best left to adults. The simple fact that it's still on the air means that someone has bought it, and is sad testimony to the idea that the average American consumer actually is as stupid as they think.
As for the Worship Together crap, I'm just sick of it. It's one thing to celebrate your faith (as many do, and no issues there). It's another thing entirely to do it with tired, recycled melodies and lame-ass lyrics. If I want that kind of pretentious posturing, I'll go download some Creed off Kazaa.
Lame product clue #1: "Not Available In Stores" means "No store with any semblance of dignity would carry our product."

The Ass-Kicking Sex Toy -- Kitsa, 17:59:11 01/21/04 Wed (68.75.182.11)
This is the most recent in a series of astoundingly stupid Florida Orange Juice commercials. A mom uncovers an impossibly pink device that first appears to be a mammoth sex toy of some type. Ah, but this is no ordinary sex toy! It's on rollers and it's armed with a boot that kicks the ass of all who slack. First, it stalks the boy, who leaps onto his bed and distracts its gluteal ambition toward his sister. She scrambles backwards, drops the phone and cowers on her bed like those kids on the capsized sailboat in Jaws. (Was it Jaws? Maybe Jaws II. Doesn't matter, there's always someone on a capsized sailboat).

Next it takes after the husband, who's practicing his pantless golf swing in front of the mirror. He and his unmade bed are no match for the ass-kicking machine. Finally, the obedient pink obscenity rolls back to its master, who caps her triumph with a frothy glass of OJ.

Kudos to you, Mrs. Asskicker, scourge of unmade beds.

Sheetz Radio Commerical -- Brandy, 03:43:09 01/21/04 Wed (24.3.177.19)
I'm not sure if this commercial qualifies, being a radio ad and all, but during the course of my internship, I listened to the radio during my entire shift. I have never wanted to jab a pencil through my ear more than when I heard a baritone singer who could neither sing, nor enunciate the words he was singing, bellow out this little number;

I went to sheetz for dinner and got my dinner,
I went to sheetz for dinner and got my dinner,
I went to sheetz for dinner and got my dinner,
Eating is believing at Sheetz.

sounded more like
"ah went to sheetz fo' dina an gotmah dina"

hearing it once was bad enough, but I counted it 7 times before it was time to go home, then once on the drive. Who writes this shit?

Kentucky Fucked Chicken -- Magicwolf, 22:31:39 01/09/04 Fri (66.77.226.39)
I'm not sure which crack-smoking adhole agency these folks use but I sure wish they'd lay off the pipe awhile and realize that gross doesn't sell. After images in prior ads of insects swirling around their food (honey BBQ "chicken") and that tubby twit Jason Alexander and his unfunny shit which is unappetizing in itself, I have absolutely NO desire to choke down any of their "chicken". The moldy coleslaw they served us once didn't help with that desire any either. Neither did the lack of response from Kentucky Fried Cornishgamehens when I wrote them to complain about the moldy slaw.

Their latest offering shows some sloppy dipshit with BBQ sauce smeared all over his face and his friend telling him, "I have bad news. You're not the Wingmaster anymore."

Cut to a bigger slob with even more sauce smeared on his face.
I've seen people make this big of a mess when they eat. When they're about two years old. If you have that much trouble with Kentucky Fucked's crappy little dried out "wings" you should probably be fed through a tube.

Would you want to be known as something called the "Wingmaster"?

Me either. We already have the Thighmaster and the Breastmaster really doesn't sound very good.

The commercial showed a blender full of maggots, and they turned it on and the stupid couple slurped them through a straw and started gagging on them. Remember when NBC used to be a respectable network? That was a long time ago; they are not trashier than FOX could ever dream of being. Sadly shows like this have a huge fan base, something that I find very disturbing. Just what kind of world are we living in now? NBC is going down the drain. They used to have great shows but not anymore. Friends and Frasier are leaving and ER is a shadow of its former self. All they got left is the Law And Order shows. I mostly watch ABC and CBS.

Oh my God. I have a bad headache. I need to go lay down in a bit. I feel nauseauted, too....:barf:

People magazine just released their 2004 yearbook thing with stuff that happened in 2003...Their "People of the Year" section is a big ****ing joke. PARIS HILTON?? My God. What a ****ing sleazy slut. Who died and made her one of the people of the year? Please. Really. And their tribute section to the people who died in 2003 is pathetic. WE KNOW THEY DIED IN 2003. Just write their goddamn birthday AND DATE OF DEATH in 2003!!!!!!!!! It's not THAT hard. For John Ritter, it just says he died in September, not WHAT DAY. Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. Good thing I didn't buy their poor excuse of a '04 yearbook. (/vent)

I have a headache and I have two big reading assignments that I have to do by tomorrow morning. Shoot me now.

Guess what? (see next post)

OK, get this. My dad and stepmom are getting ready to make my old bedroom at their house a sewing room for my stepmom...Anyway, my dad wants me to stop by this weekend and take my stuff out of there...I'm gonna be bringing my ceramic cats with me...And I have a big dresser in there I stuff all my crap in... OK, my stepsis (who is a REALLY messy person) needs a dresser. God, it's about ****ing time. Then perhaps I won't trip over something in her room when I go to put something of hers in there... I started out with two dressers originally, but then my sis came by for a visit one time in 2001 and took one of the dressers (it was hers when she was growing up in the 80's, so she has it again), so I was minus a dresser. So, yeah. Why didn't my stepsis decide she wanted the other dresser when we moved into their current house in 2000? Everybody knows you can't work with just one dresser. That way, I wouldn't have to be coming by to take my crap out of the dressers.

And I FINALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY got Marlee Matlin's picture! But it was a preprinted autographed picture, which I'm disappointed about. I waited FOUR MONTHS (120 days) for a stupid preprint?? :wallbang

Either way, I'm stuck with this class this semester. No way they're going to waive that requirement. Oh God, choosing to major in English was a big mistake. I don't want to major in a field where I write because I HAVE to, not for fun.

Beh...

EEK! And you're only a freshman!

Actually, freshman year blows because a lot of it is HS rehash. Once you get past all those lame requireds, it's sooooo much better.
