I know I read the reason somewhere but my feeble mind can't recall... why WAS his whole face never shown? Was it meant to be just a gag? Did Earl have this in his contract? And/or...who's idea was this? Thanks for any 411. :wave:

i read that tim allen was inable to see over the fence as a kid so he could only see half of the nabors face so they made it into a joke

In the 1st season they revealed almost his whole face and then he started covering it up for the rest of the time.

It's crazy! Like in episodes where he went places...say, church...he would be behind a fake tree that was sitting in the hallway. HAHA!
