I have no idea. They are a mess in airing it, they are skipping around(or will be badly in January) and will be airing the exact same episodes as N@N(the same day too!) It's really annoying...

Wow! Samsgirl xoxo, you did a nice job uploading these original openings. These are the original openings I've never seen it before. I've seen the original opening for Season 7 on ABC Family about a week ago. It was featured in the episode called "The Apartment". Thanks! You're doing a great job. Are you still looking for original themes for seasons 1, 2, 3, 7 and 8? I'll let you know if you have any. Thanks! Oh, by the way! Season #2's original theme is still available on Sitcoms Online. Thanks brooklyn guy! yea for like years no one ever knew of the theme because no one ever saw it.. lol im glad i can share it with you! yes, if anyone has figured out, i lovvee the tv theme.. i liked the show when i was younger, and i watched it so much that i could probably know an eppy with my eyes shut.. so now i just obsess over the theme lol

yea i have ALOT of themes.. but its just going through all the tapes i have from around that time thats frustrating.. but if ANYONE else has a theme, send it or post it.. maybe i can host it online or something!

Samsgirl, I only saw the long theme for season #7 in an episode called "The Apartment". It was on ABC Family about a week ago. If you love theme songs, you should go to that site:

Just scroll down and you'll see the name "Full House Original ABC Version" and download this clip. This is the longer theme from the first season and it does not say "Mary Kate/Ashley Olsen" in the credits until season #2. I love that one.

ABC Family will start showing the 3rd season episodes(1989-1990) on the weekends starting Saturday January 10th. The weekdays will be in the 8th and final season still(I can't see beyond the 11th right now), here it goes:

Saturday January 10th

12pm ET-Tanner's Island
1230pm ET-Back to School Blues

Sunday January 11th

12pm ET-Breaking Up Is Hard to Do(in 22 minutes)
1230pm ET-Nerd for a Day

The theme they showed for "The Apartment" episode wasn't the full Pilot version. It was longer than the usual version, but not the complete version.

I saw it on ABC Family about two weeks ago. The Nick at Nite version uses the short theme of the same episode.

I have from about season two.. to the last one i posted.. after that i grew out of full house (Im 18)

the problem is digging thru my childhood tapes.. AHH lol

They have played it three times so far I think. I wouldn't expect to see it much. The problem is... when they show the long theme... they end up having to chop that episode up for time constraints, so you get a better deal with the shortened version.

Maybe ABC Family will sometimes have the long theme. It is definitely hard to find. Sort of. All shows have the syndicated version and some shows have the ABC version.

Samsgirl, I saw "The Big Three-O" episode earlier that at the end of the show, the Tanners are driving the highway with the rendition of the Beatles song "Drive My Car" at the background. That scene reminds of the original ABC opening that it was closer to the "Full House" logo and the executive producer credits right in the background of the Golden Gate Bridge. I thought it might be the "Full House" title but not quite close.

I'm just wondering if anyone has the other full themes from abc of full house like season 2 Long, season 3, season 6, season 7 and season 8. I downloaded the one's that the one person put up and I found season 1 and I know they air season 8 as it was but I want it for my computer, if anyone could post those or email them to me at MDLimeWire@aol.com I would love to have those.

I don't think abc Family plans on using the abc version theme song because of syndnication contracts to Nick at Nite, plus when they redid every episode for syndication they put in the shortned theme for every epsiode, abc Family would have to go back and re edit every episode. Like in the final episode they already cut out flashback scenes. If you know when D.J. goes with Becky to shop for a prom dress, Michelle is standing up well in the cut version the next second she is sitting down on the couch with the family album next to her saying she's tired and is going to lay down, but in the abc version after D.J wen t with Becky, Danny shows Michelle pictures to help her get her memory back and they show flashback scenes. abc Family will probably how the sydnication version theme until the contract with Nick at Nite is up in 2005 right before the Full House Movie airs on abc.

Wrong... It'll be at least 2007 before N@N loses the right to Full House and 2008 for ABC Family. The movie and other stuff was just a rumor.
