Welllllllll last year Curt didn't do too well... but he was injured, so I suppose that makes up for the atrocious record of 8/9.
I think Boston did the right thing...hopefully. We'll know by next October ;)

Considering that Schilling has done great as far as pitching in the postseason in his career I think it was a good pickup for the Bo Sox.

the record clearly does not make up the pitcher because although he was 8-9 he did have a 2.95 ERA, and most of the games they lost is because the diamondbacks could not produce any offense...so I am not worried at all bout his win/loss record...
Beat the Yanks, I'll think highly of it.

If Schilling can remain healthy, that is one heck of a trade for the Sox.

I asked my husband his opinion, and he said this is the best pickup since Pedro Martinez. He said the Sox now have the best one two punch in baseball.

Wonder how long and how much will his contract be?

It's a 3-year deal for about 40 million with a 1-year option.
