TV Land will be airing all three Christmas episodes this year in it's annual 48 hour Merry-thon. The full line-up will be posted at the General Sitcoms board as soon as I get some episode info for some shows, other than that, it is ready. I thought I'd post here and let the Family Ties fans know that three episodes will be airing. And no, this does not mean TV Land will air the show as a regular. It's still a Nick@Nite show, but they are not airing it. Hopefully, Nick@Nite brings it back in 2004, even 5 a.m. would be better than nothing. I'm not sure how long they have the rights for, but I'd day they have it until fall 2005. Usually a contract is 4 years. Anyway, here is the TV Land schedule for the Christmas episodes:

Sunday, December 21
4:00PM Family Ties #14 "A Christmas Story" (aka Christmas Show) When their ski trip is postponed by a snowstorm, the Keatons sit home by the fire, where Steven and Elyse share memories of their children's births.
4:30PM Family Ties #37 "A Keaton Chrismas" Carol Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" inspires this episode featuring Alex as the Keaton Scrooge.
5:00PM Family Ties #145 "Miracle In Columbus" The Christmas spirit has come to the Keaton house, where the family is busy baking Christmas cookies when Skippy stops by to ask a favor. He wants Alex to pinch-hit for him as Santa at the mall, and Alex agrees after hearing about the excellent hourly wage.

If at some point, TV Land chooses to start airing Family Ties, please let us know. Thanks.

I think that was what he was implying, which I'm sure you figured out... lol. I'm kind of excited if it is true. It'll seem a bit out of place, I guess, but I'll certainly watch it. I hated how N@N treated it and I never got to watch it.
