I can't believe I'm saying this, but...

I find that I don't miss Carter at all. He was always one of my favorites, but ever since he came back from drug rehab, I've been finding him more and more annoying each season. I like how some of the other characters, especially Luka and Susan (my current favorites) are finally getting some decent screen time now that Carter isn't around to hog it all with Abby.

Carter is so my fav! I totally miss him and I can't wait until he gets back. One of the things i'm looking forward to the most is seeing how they slip in him coming back. I don't think that he'll all of a sudden appear out of no where.

Interesting! I found Luka to be annoying! He seems to have too many inner demons he hasn't dealt with. His practice of medicine since he got back from Africa is getting sloppy! He's doing clinic type diagnosis in a ER setting!

I wonder how many NBC execs have the same opinion.

Noah Wiley shouldn't have taken this leave of absence from the show. After all the years on the show (as one of the few original cast members) he finally has top billing and he takes off for half the season.
Now we have some very interesting storylines going with the other cast members.
Perhaps Carter isn't as important to the E.R. as we thought...
