Did you know that Lucy and Desi both married twice, Vivian also, although we later found out it was four times for her. Gary had been briefly married before Lucy and Edie had been married berore Desi. Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz junior were both married twice. De De was married twice, as was Cleo, Fred was at least twice and i think Bill was only once, Madelyn Martin was at least twice. Lucy noticed that everybody got remarried after she did it and joked about it, that they did it because she did! Hey, i was just desperate for something to post about, ok?

They had a 'fake " divorce when Lucy kicked Ricky out of the apt because she was 'single ' again

What did you do? Memorize the entire series? LOL! You're probably one of those people that noticed he had elevator shoes and sat on pillows in two shots with Lucy!

I didn't memorized the whole series. lol
I looked at his shoes and they weren't that "high" and the "pillow" thing don't bother me. To me he's perfect.

Yes Fernando, I think I might be!
You're probably one of those people that noticed he had elevator shoes and sat on pillows in two shots with Lucy! One time the actual couch cushion was twice as thick! He must have been way sensitive about the height thing!

I agree Karen, he did look handsome while singing that. I still think Lucy sings it better though, lol. ("Lucy and the Dummy" is one of my favorite episodes)

My fave scene is when she hits the dummy but it ends up being HIM!

I like when she comes back out and the dummy's dragging along and she says "what a trooper!" I love that episode too. Except they make her feel bad. :(

Yes, the WHAT A TROOPER line is one of my faves of the whole series, she does it so naturally, like when the host tries to stop her from going on, THE SHOW MUST GO ON!

"Lucy and the Dummy" is a favorite of mine too. I love the "What a trouper!" line. I feel a little sorry for Lucy though, because the other three make her feel so guilty! :(

Yeah, I felt kind of bad for Lucy too. I understand that it was just a show, but it was mean of Ricky, Ethel, and Fred to make Lucy feel guilty about wanting to finally realize her dream of being in show business. They could have easily lived in Hollywood, but instead they were all selfish. (Wow, it's kind of sad that I sit and practically analyze these shows, lol)

The way of thinking back then didn't allowed for the women to bring home the bacon and having a latin hubby didn't helped much either on that sense :(
