Melrose...Amanda/Michael???

Hello, all! :wave:

This is my first time posting on the "Soaps" board because I only watch one...Melrose Place. I'm not even sure if I like it...I'm just hooked at the moment!!! :drool:

Anyway, I was wondering if you guys could answer a question for me. I missed an episode this week. I think it was "To Live and Die in Malibu". I don't exactly understand the whole Amanda/Michael relationship. At one point, he was just too nice to her. He actually seemed human for a couple episodes! :eek: But then I find out that he's tricking Kimberly (who he's married to at this point) to go out with Amanda, who has no idea what's going on. Is Michael being a total JERK again, or did I miss something? :angdev:

It's hard to remember. I haven't seen the show in awhile but Michael behaves like a jerk for the rest of the series. I always thought that Michael and Kimberly were the best together.

I believe that at this point is when Amanda has cancer and Micheal is helping her... If it is then what happened is that Micheal starts developing GENUINE feelings for Amanda, however she does NOT return thoes feelings and Kimberly is very jealous... also she HATES amanda (for VARIOUS reasons)... anyway this is right before Kimberly blows up the building... Micheal and Amanda never really get together, for the rest of the series he goes between Kimberly/Jane/Megan/Lexi/Taylor... in the end i believe he ends up w/ Taylor, but i can't remember... oh and he never acts human again, he goes back to being a total jerk...

Actually, he wanted to be with Lexi at the end of the series but she didn't want him so he ended up single. Jane became pregnant with Michael's baby but didn't tell him. She and Kyle ended up together. Taylor leaves MP in two weeks. She leaves with Michael's baby.

I wacthed the show religiously back in the day, but it's so hard to remember now! I guess that's because there were so many twists and revelations that it's hard to keep them all straight! I loved Kimberly, she was the reason to watch this show. When she stole Jo's baby? Classic.

It's a shame Marcia Cross isn't on tv more.

For those interested, I was watching an episode of Spin City a few years ago and Marcia Cross was a guest star. Her and Heather shared a scene together- but nothing! Not a glance, not an "in" joke, nothing! I was SOOO disappointed. What a wasted opportunity.

I saw that episode! :D I like Spin City a lot, but I was surprised about the Heather/Marcia scene, too! Shameful. ohno:
